First of all, Holly's description of the place was accurate. The bathtub was as she described it, but I had no trouble getting into it. I found the clawfoot tub contributed to the ambience of the apartment. As indicated in the description, the apartment was on the small side and quite adequate for our needs. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen equipment was sufficient, and the decor was eclectic and homey. The age of the house brought me a bit of nostalgia, as it reminded me of my grandmother's home in PA. Our questions, as stupid as they may have been, were answered in a timely manner. Our schedule was tight, and the location fit the bill. We walked to the Presbyterian Church for the Palm Sunday Service and a Memorial service later in the day. The Polish Stoneware store was my favorite - it is a go-to store in the area.

Great location. A short drive to the battlefield park, a great ice cream shop a few doors down, and great restaurants and shops a short walk to the town center. The host was responsive and understanding. It is a great unit full of history being a civil war era building in Gettysburg.

Fantastic location, within walking distance of so many attractions. Extremely clean and nicely decorated with everything you need. Description is spot-on. Very enjoyable stay.

This apartment was clean and nicely appointed, and even had an electric kettle and teas, which I appreciated as a tea drinker! The bed was very comfortable. Our favorite thing though was the fenced in large backyard that had a bocce court and nice little fountain. Jeff and his wife were very friendly and gave us a lot of recommendations in the area and responded quickly to our texts. We would stay here again!

We spent a week here while we went on different civil war and ghost tours. We had a great time and this place was awesome. It’s right outside of town which is nice and you are less than a 5 min drive from downtown. As some have said previously, you could hear faint music from the shop next door. It wasn’t an issue and we only heard it in the living room. Didn’t affect our stay at all.

We had a great time here! Walkable to all the downtown has to offer, which is more than I expected! Quirky bars, good restaurants, more ice cream stores than I ever thought possible! And the place itself was great, super high ceilings, a smell of polished wood everywhere. Apparently it was there before the battle, which we thought was so cool. I highly recommend this spot if exploring the area! And I also highly recommend Mr Gs for ice cream, and The Miner for a quirky spot to have a drink.

Wow what an incredible stay! Cathy has thought of everything and is super helpful and responsive so my work trip went the smoothest and I had a really restful and lovely time! Cathy made the most incredible cookies and even allowed me to check out late so I could finish up some work before I left- what a gem of a host and human! Do yourself a favor and stay with her when you are in town or near l, I hope to be back too!

Super cozy and clean! 10 minutes away from Liberty Resort, so very convenient for us. Eileen will ensure you’ll have a great time.

This was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve had recently! Karen’s place is impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated, and comfortably furnished. We had everything we need including enough pots/pans/ utensils to make serval full meals in the kitchen. This host has covered all the details to ensure guests feel right at home. There is some noise from the road, which was anticipated as it was stated in the listing but each bedroom had a white noise machine so I was able to sleep uninterrupted. Will absolutely be staying here again!!!

This is our second time staying at Ms. Kathy's place, she is a great host, the unit is clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated and has a well equipped kitchen. The back patio is ample, peaceful, and next to a small lake. The unit is within 15 minutes driving distance to Gettysburg, PA. We really enjoyed our stay.

While visiting Gettysburg our stay at Anita's was a cozy comfortable experience. Nicely decorated and well equiped with everything you need. Anita was gracious responsive and very helpful. Glad we stayed at the Cozy Loft.

It was the perfect small apartment for my short trip. It is only 20 minutes from Gettysburg, which was perfect for me.

Super cute spot with great amenities and a comfy bed. The whole place is very clean and there are so many great details from the s’mores kits to use at the fire pit to the extra toothbrush in case you forget yours.

We really enjoyed our stay in Hershey at Chris's place. It is centrally located, so easy to access Hershey Park and nearby restaurants. Check-in was very easy and communication throughout our stay was excellent.

We had an awesome time at this Airbnb! The place was super clean and cozy, and the Hershey-themed decor was such a fun touch. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, with the outlets just a short walk away. We loved having the indoor pool, game room, and fire pits—plenty to do when we weren’t at Hershey Park (which is only like 5 minutes away!). Our host was super responsive, and check-in was a breeze. Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks for a great stay!

I was just passing through and wished I had more time to spend in Carlisle. I will definitely be back! This town is full of history!

We recently stayed here for my wife’s birthday. We can not say enough good things about our stay. The building is stunning, the inside has so much character and is beautifully furnished and decorated. We tried to enjoy all the areas. Had a fire in the common room, enjoyed the hot tub while the snow fell and our room was comfortable! The bed and pillows in our room were the best we’ve ever slept on in a Airbnb before. So much so we read the labels and ordered the same set for home. lol the rooms are big and the bathroom and bath relaxing. We are already planning our trip back! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! The Hosts were always responsive and gave us great recommendations for the area. You will not be disappointed if you book your stay here.

This is a gorgeous, historic property with upscale decor and lovely shared spaces. I only wish I had brought my wife with me — it has a very upscale, artsy and romantic vibe. The property has been beautifully restored, keeping so much original elements like steam radiators, wooden flooring, solid wood doors, and more! You could spend hours enjoying the details. That said, kitchen was modernly appointed, with everything I needed to make myself a steak dinner and a good breakfast in the morning. Room temp is easily controlled from smart thermostats, and I enjoyed placing my towel on the radiator and getting to use a warm towers after my shower. The rooms all have beautiful views of the river! And, there is a gorgeous shared patio space that includes a hot tub and grill—I didn’t get to enjoy since I was there on business. I look forward to coming back on a weekend getaway in the near future.

This space was gorgeous, inside and out! The host was responsive and, when we had a minor issue with the lock box, they not only resolved it with excellent customer service but also went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported. The only downside was an "old house" noise that was fairly persistent. A strong hum came from a vent most of the time we were there, but was even louder when the heat kicked on, and it did wake me up at least once. I'm quite sensory sensitive to sound. So, if you have a hard time relaxing with high pitched hums, it might be best to try a different room (we were in the Meigs). The hot tub, beautiful grounds, gorgeous river view from our window, elegant decor, and thoughtful instructions from the host, however, mean we will definitely be back (but maybe in a different suite, or if the hum is resolved in the future, that suite). Highly, highly recommend!

We had the best time at The Manor over Christmas!!! The place is absolutely gorgeous, there is a fireplace and an outdoors hot tub and the park around the manor is beautiful. The house was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt so homely, and our room was beautiful too and big with a huge comfy bed. Rachel was super warm and welcoming and we felt right at home. Marietta is a lovely town with great restaurant options and a nice river walk. We had an unforgettable Christmas experience, thank you for everything Rachel!!
