Dan’s home is like stepping into a home of history and adventure. There are many pieces to view of his endless journeys throughout the world. The home is situated on a high bluff overlooking the Potomac. The views are gorgeous and many birds can be seen and heard. The gardens and plantings around the house breathe life to the landscape. The home itself is updated with high end kitchen and baths. Master bedroom is spacious with an en-suite bath. 3 other bedrooms are very nice as well. Our stay was lovely and would recommend this home highly.

Our family had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the pool and the farm animals. The home was clean and had lots of games and amenities. The hosts were very responsive and great to work with during our stay.

The place is even more beautiful than I could have imagined! There was a crackling fire when we came in, there’s such a personal touch throughout the house and the surrounding nature is picturesque. One of the favorite places I’ve ever stayed. Our whole party raved about it.

This cabin was adorable and very clean. It had everything we needed. It was very private, yet only five (5) Miles to downtown Gettysburg. My husband and I highly recommend.

We felt right at home the minute we arrived to this very cozy cottage. We enjoyed the back deck to keep our Maximus safe & had a great fire pit night too! Joyce thank you for being so friendly & with great recommendations to visit Adam’s winery & Thirsty Farmer. Our furry baby Maximus Jake had a great time too. Thank you so much! We can’t wait to visit again soon!

we received email directions with photos, and they were perfect. the road to the house is a little private dirt road. when you reach the house, it's set back just beautiful. the kitchen had everything you would need. house was very clean and organized furniture and beds were comfortable. the porch even had a doggy door. would definitely return.

the place was nice and the host was very helpful. when i arrived i had trouble trying to figure out the switches and wifi, the host was very helpful in this matter. i would recommened this place to everyone.

we loved our stay at Brenda's. Spacious, clean, and cozy and we enjoyed being able to have a fire going on chilly evenings. the sunsets were immaculate and we loved seeing the neighbor's animals (cows, mini horses, etc) roam while enjoying a great view. Brenda was an absolute pleasure to be around and is very friendly. I felt very welcomed and comfortable here, and me and my family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed here as we were waiting to close on a home we are buying nearby. we had actually left two airbnbs right before finding Brenda's (one because of a bad experience and the other because of issues with the house). We were so relieved with our stay at Brenda's. It is easy to see that she takes good care of the rentals and land and definitely takes good care of visitors. I highly recommend anyone to stay!

We stayed here for 5 months and it was awesome! Rani is such a wonderful host, always willing to help us out. The location was great and close to a lot of attractions. Thank you again for hosting us.

I had a lovely stay at the Jewel Vinosta -- the goal of my trip was to rest and disconnect and this spot hit the mark. The guest house is creatively designed and wherever your eye lands, there is something interesting to see -- musical instruments, art, books ... you name it. I particularly enjoyed drinking tea in the sunroom and reading during the day, and reading on the couch under the star projector. Indeed, I did quite a bit of reading and for once did not open my work laptop! I was traveling with my Bernese Mountain dog and we enjoyed hiking in the area, particularly the Frederick Municipal Forest down Wolfsville road (20 min drive).

Chris's place had everything we needed from the washer/dryer to cooking supplies in a compact space. The outdoor areas gave us many options for spots to hangout. I was with my wife and our 12 and 7 year old and the beds in the loft worked out just fine. This is a (well equipped) cabin so be prepared for the occasional insect. The place had some whimsical devour and the cat tissue holder was hilarious. For the price, you can't beat staying at Cabin #3. It is 38min from Hershey Park. Also be sure to check out the weightlifting hall of fame which is only 10mins away. My son loved it.

What a sweet little hidden treasure of place! I booked the apartment for a surprise for my husband’s birthday. And it was just perfect. Easy to find the place. Super close to town and Gettysburg College’s campus. The battlefield was just a short drive. We walked to the restaurants, bars, shops and coffee houses. The beds were super comfy. The place was clean. And we loved having coffee on the porch. The apartment was decorated nicely. The kitchen was well stocked. Being across the street from the grocery store was a bonus. I’d definitely recommend this apartment.

We had a lovely long weekend- rain and snow but coming back to this place at the end of the day was so cozy- did puzzles in the front room, games in the living room, and beds were very comfortable at the end of a long stay. Just a perfect place and plenty of room. Thank you.

Very comfortable space with lots of privacy! If you plan to do your own cooking, be aware that there’s no full-size oven but otherwise the kitchen is well-equipped!
