A very clean and comfortable 3-bedroom apartment. Surrounded by other apartments but very quiet. I highly recommend it.

A great space. Such a lovely renovated house. A great family friendly spot if you do not want the hustle and bustle of San Fran but close enough for a day trip to the main spots in the city. We loved heading back to the house after a day in San Fran.

Last week we stayed at Bruce and Chris' beautifully appointed home for the third time. The same comfortable, immaculate and cheerful accommodations awaited us. Bruce and Chris are wonderful hosts, reaching out often throughout our visit. They thought of everything. Highly recommend. Looking forward to our next stay! Eleonora & Eduardo

The studio was clean, cosy and warm (in December). The bathroom was clean and the kitchen was perfect for our needs. Carrie was always quick to respond and very helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay, and it was nice finding a place that was actually dog friendly, especially in Alameda. The neighborhood is great for walks. The unit adjoins the host’s house on one side and I think another rental below, but it is quite quiet and private. We happened to meet the hosts outside one afternoon, and they’re extremely nice. Also: - Easy parking. - The bathroom has a bidet, if you prefer that. - Very comfortable bed. - Netflix and maybe prime tv? A couple tiny things to be aware of: - the stairway up to the rental is a tad narrow (just mentioning for accessibility). - the kitchen circuit breaker kept tripping, so the fridge was iffy, but it might have been due to rain, and host said they’d look into repairing. All in all, a great rental! Would stay again and would definitely recommend.

Tina was a responsive host and addressed my concerns. She also was accommodating with my late check in. The location itself is great as it is within walking distance of many restaurants, markets, bus stops, and the beach. The apartment (and the neighborhood) was also always quiet. One thing to note is that, as far as I'm aware, there are only two three-pronged outlets available to use (one in the walk-in closet, one in the restroom). But there are outlet extensions available in the apartment in case you need more. There is also a two-pronged outlet in the kitchen. Overall I enjoyed my short stay here.

Charming Craftsman home. Kitchen and kitchen table nook areas are spacious and have great natural lighting. Kitchen is well stocked with what we needed for simple cooking and food prep. Clean and comfortable throughout. Pleasant walk to downtown, a little less than a mile away. Friendly host lives upstairs and shares kitchen, not intrusive at all.

We loved staying at Corria's place. It’s a quiet ground-floor unit at the rear of a multi-unit property. The backyard is beautifully lined with rosebushes and overlooks the water, perfect for relaxing lunches (patio furniture available). It’s a quick drive to Park St & Webster St restaurants, Safeway, and the ferry - I commuted to SF by ferry 2 separate days, and it was beautiful! The kitchen is well-stocked for cooking, and there’s plenty of bedroom storage - we fully unpacked for our 1-week stay. I worked remotely from the dining table all week, and the wifi worked great. Corria was responsive and easy to communicate with, quickly helping with a couple of small needs. Some notes: - One bedroom has lower ceilings - better for kids or shorter folks. - Not wheelchair accessible: uphill driveway, then stone steps down to the unit (well lit at night). - There’s an old dock out back - it’s a bit rickety, so be cautious and watch kids. All in all, great location & highly recommended!

Ying is a super nice host and has put tremendous efforts in upkeeping the cottage. The location of the property is most convenient with its proximity to highway, BART, shopping and dining. I have truly enjoyed the stay and would absolutely like to choose it again for future trips to Berkeley and SF area. Thanks much Ying!

Kim’s place was absolutely perfect for our extended stay while our house was being remodeled. It is large, private, tastefully decorated - we felt at home immediately. Alameda has a great small town feel, and there are several restaurants and bars in walking distance (or short drive), plus easy access to Oakland and SF for more urban amenities. Kim is very responsive and a great host. We highly recommend Kim’s place, particularly if you are looking for an extended stay.

Kit's place was great for a family stay with our toddler and baby. It's walkable to a small market and a playground, there's good street parking availability, and it's easy to get to other parts of the Bay Area. We also appreciated the flexibility around check-in and check-out times.

Stupendous house. Beautiful, comfortable, kid-friendly. Kitchen fully stocked and every other room was perfectly appointed. When I came upon a room in the basement, it was a gold mine of kids' books and board games. Treehouse is lovely. The primary suite is gorgeous...so much sun and views everywhere. We loved it and I wish I lived there.

Everything went smooth. Clean space. Easy check in. Kind people.

This is a great choice for a peaceful, relaxing and convenient stay. Everything needed to walk in and feel right at home. Quiet road yet convenient location were highlights for us.
