Alli’s place was amazing!! Super clean, comfortable for myself, mother in law and 15 month. Super easy transportation near by. Great restaurants within walking distance and a market around the corner if you forgot anything. We felt right at home.

LOVED Leslie's home. We felt instantly at home and just loved being in her art & plant-filled space. Excellent instructions & comfortable bed. Very cool backyard. Leslie was beyond accommodating and helpful during our stay. Would 1000% recommend and hope to return!!

Kit was a great host! She was with responses and the home was perfect for our family of four. We had no issues and will definitely stay here again when we visit our family in Alameda!

Jackie & her home rate a 10 out of 5 for (1) furnishings/supplies; (2) condition of the home and (3) location – all with great attention to detail & care! She goes above & beyond! Jackie has thought of everything that one could need, including every kind of “start-up” supplies – from the kitchen & refrigerator, to the laundry, the bathrooms, and the closets! If you need anything, it is there the same day or the next. She responds almost immediately. The home environment is spotlessly clean; it is crisp and airy with a fresh modern touch (the new kitchen, master bedroom and master bath all designed /renovated by her architect husband). Cleaning & change of linens is weekly, including bed covers and bath mats! The location is ideal, being a 2-3 block walk to BART, a walkable 1 mile to restaurants/shops on Solano Avenue, a 1/2 mile to a shopping center for groceries, CVS & Starbucks. Jackie really cares that you have a good experience during your visit! We are rebooking!

A casa é muito boa, bem localizada. Próxima a mercados e restaurantes. O pátio é excelente e tem até brinquedos e jogos para crianças. A limpeza é impecável e tem tudo para uma excelente estadia. Quartos confortáveis, com boa quantidade de cobertores, travesseiros. Banheiro excelente, com muitas toalhas. Cozinha completa, tudo de muita qualidade. Produtos disponíveis para lavar roupa, louça e até limpar bancadas. O anfitrião é muito amigável e responde rápido. Adoramos a estadia!!! Voltaríamos, com certeza!!!

We were stuck when our rental property on another booking site was not habitable and we found Will's place and it was available. It was exceptionally clean and quiet and had a lovely, private backyard sitting area which was beautifully landscaped. Great master bedroom with views, huge bathroom and massive walk-in closet - all squeaky clean with plenty of towels. Will's house is very private despite being in a cul-de-sac and is not overlooked by any house. It was a very bright and sunlit house and we really enjoyed our time there.

Everything went smooth. Clean space. Easy check in. Kind people.

Don & Lori are such incredible hosts! Our trip ended up being shorter than anticipated, and I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. I was traveling with my dog & foster dog and the park across the street was so perfect! The neighborhood was so peaceful and walkable and we had such a peaceful night’s rest. The home felt like staying with a family member and had so many great touches of home and the hosts communication was exceptional. I arrived late in the dark & they put out a welcome sign for me so I knew I was in the right place. Highly recommend and will def stay here again when I come back for a longer workshop!

The spot is bigger and better appointed than the photos show. The location is great and parking was easy. Would definitely stay again.

We had a delightful stay at Sheila's home, the place was exactly as described,and was organized and well planned out...the outside patio was very pleasant..we found the location perfect for our needs and would happily stay here again!

Izzy was a great host. She was incredibly responsive to any issues (all small and easily managed) that I had. She was very friendly and made me feel right at home. If I’m ever in the Oakland/SF area I would love to have Izzy as a host again.

As everyone else has said, then place is very clean, exactly as described, Sheilah is very responsive and the location is very safe. If the location in Alameda works for you, this place will fit the bill. Highly recommended.

Dennis & Tiiu's place was perfect for our needs. We stayed for a week while in town visiting our son, who lives only a few minutes away, so it was a perfect location for us. The location was peaceful and quite. The house was cozy and suitable for two people. It was a little smaller than it looked in the pictures but again, it worked for the two of us. The amenities were as described. We would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my time at Audrey’s place. They are centrally located and the backyard is a beautiful place to work or unwind. Audrey, Jordie, and the pups were very friendly and hospitable. I would highly recommend their place for any guest visiting Oakland.

Stayed with my 3 kids, ages 4, 7, and 10. Was just as advertised. Backyard space was great to hang out in and my kids made themselves right at home. Lili promptly helped us with a small key issue when it came up. Would definitely recommend!

Loved this place! We’ve been traveling around a lot and seen too many lackluster Airbnbs so this unit was a breath of fresh air. The place was clean! It’s eclectic without being too crowded or busy. The kitchen table is cute, there are great books and lots of lovely stuff to look at. The kitchen is much better stocked than most and Bree was a breeze to communicate with. We needed to add an extra night and she made it super simple and responded quickly. It’s easy to walk the lake and get to restaurants on lakeshore or grand and also the farmers market on Saturdays. There are stairs but they help you get your steps in! We would easily stay here again!

We had a great stay. The space was beautiful and very Berkeley! It was quiet and serene, beautiful bay views, a little deck to sit on and enjoy your morning coffee. Very well equipped kitchen. If you aren't familiar with Berkeley and its hills, note that its a steep hill with lots of steps, so might not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues. The host was great - very communicative. Would happily stay again - a little oasis in the east bay!

Noel’s always responsive and friendly during our stay. The house is exactly the one you see on the pictures. Check-in and check-out are also easy to process. Furthermore, it’s a quiet neighborhood which you can get great rest here. Recommend to stay if it is available!

Henrick was a very responsive and communicative host. When I mentioned it'd be great to have some extra blankets/TP/etc., he responded very quickly and had those items to me ASAP. The place was very comfortable and perfect for my 2 week stay in the area for work. Everything was super clean and the kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils/pots/pans/etc. Henrick included all the amenities I needed, including detergent for laundry, towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, etc. Wi-fi was also great and perfect for the days I worked remotely from the apartment, and having A/C in both rooms kept the place very comfortable. The location was great as I was commuting to my office in Palo Alto. I'll be recommending this listing to my coworkers who come for extended stays, and I look forward to staying again in the future!

Great apartment super close to College Avenue, walkable area.

Place is in a GREAT location as it is close to Piedmont Street (restaurants, coffee shops, movie theater) yet on a quiet neighborhood street. Very nice experience.

Selamawit’s places is the perfect spot to stay if you ever have business in Oakland – I was there for a local film festival at the Grand Lake Theater. Matching the tranquil location that was within walking distance to all of the excitement of grand Avenue was the impeccable and spacious home as well as Selamawit’s consummate hosting. She was always available, flexible, and attentive to my needs. It was a pleasure to stay in her space I hope to stay there the next time I find myself in the Bay Area.

from the moment I walked in the door seeing a welcome sign with my name on it to the beautiful spacious surroundings, I felt right at home and this is the nicest Airbnb I've stayed at. I will definitely come back again. The host contacted me prior to my arrival to see if there was anything in particular she could have on stock for me. attention to little details was certainly appreciated and most welcome.
