Beautiful home in a perfect location for our large gathering .This listing does require advanced coordination for any visitors who are not registered guests.

We loved our stay at Hart house. We were surprised to arrive and see it really was right across the street from the temple. It was an amazing view, not to mention the view of the mississippi river down the hill. The home is appointed in antique and arts & craft period pieces. There was lots of room for our family of 6 too. It was beautiful and just fantastic. The weather got cold and very windy and we enjoyed staying indoors that evening and enjoying the beautiful home and view. This is not a comment on the house but Nauvoo in general for April. There is very little to eat in town. There is no grocery store in town and Keokuk 20+min away is the closest city with grocery stores. We decided we’d just eat out. Well, Casey’s gas station is the only place open for breakfast before 10am, and gratefully, their breakfast pizza and breakfast wraps are ok. For dinner, the nauvoo inn is open on the weekend but on a weekday night, the Red Front is all that’s open. Just a heads up!

We were in town for a few days for some high school baseball games and to visit ISU and Bradley. Even though we were gone most of the day, it was SO nice coming back to Annabelle's in the evenings to unwind and relax. It's a beautiful cottage on the water that was clean, roomy, and full of amenities. Annabelle was friendly and accommodating even though nothing went wrong and everything in the cottage was better than described. The area was quiet and the view was INCREDIBLE. Even saw a bald and golden eagle outside in the early morning hours (and found binoculars too).

it was wonderful to have a clean house to gather relatives for a meal, laughter and fun around a large dining room table and living room. The kitchen had everything necessary for us to make a meal together. Thank you for allowing our two lazy bulldogs. It was wonderful!

Our stay was great. Easy for us to find. Communication with Cecilia was easy. Heidi was so fun to talk with and made us feel so welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back. The winery was perfect. We enjoyed the brewery and the distillery. Great drinks nice atmosphere. We found breakfast at berries which had great food. It was a nice getaway for the weekend.

Fantastic hosts! Very communicative. Great little spot for a weekend trip to Iowa city.

Go to LeClaire. Stay at this Airbnb. My daughter attends college nearby and our family was in town to celebrate her 21st birthday. Location was perfect for the places Sheila kindly recommended - Crane & Pelican Cafe, Wide River Winery, 129 Coffee & Wine Bar, Mississippi River Distillery and Green Tree Brewery - with a beautiful view of the river. Everything about the adorable home, Sheila’s hospitality and our stay was simply wonderful. We were sad to leave!

Eric’s house was perfect for our group! Would stay here again if we are in the area!

Very Beautiful Home with a fantastic View. A peaceful and tranquil spot that my partner and I enjoyed. Host was responsive and really helpful. Would definitely recommend for any who is looking for quiete get away. Will a book Again in The Future.👍🏽
