Great little condo and right next to everything that you want to do in Bear Valley. Even in the middle of a blizzard the keys were easy to pickup and the condo was easy to find. It's a quick walk to the lodge and a quick drive to the lifts. The condo has a very cozy interior and was a great place to rest and relax after long days of playing in the snow.

John and Jeanelle went above and beyond as hosts. Kirkwood is a remote place and they came to my rescue with AAA batteries we needed and couldn’t find at the general store. They were so responsive and tentative to our needs while we were there for a ski competition for our son. Would definitely recommend all of their properties at Kirkwood!

This AirBnB is in a great location and has all the amenities you need for a proper ski trip. Lots of space to cook large family dinners and a large living room to host relaxing evenings. Finding the hot tubs was challenging, but once we discovered where they were, it was great. The check in process took some time with some walking around, but nothing too challenging. Be sure to understand the check in process prior to arrival to expedite your journey.

Had a wonderful stay, and really enjoyed the time in Kirkwood.

I stayed here with 2 small children and it was perfect. Great location, well-stocked, and everything was brand new. Can't beat the easy walk to the slopes and the easy parking! The hosts were responsive and flexible. Note that the bed is way too soft, which was a bit uncomfortable for us after a very active day. Otherwise, this place ticks all the checkboxes.

Perfect little cabin for a snowboarding weekend. The host was nice and communicative. Kitchen had tea, hot cocoa, olive oil, s&p, and cooking ware. If you are arriving during a snow storm (like we did), make sure to have your snow gear on hand. We had to walk through knee/thigh high snow to get to our unit, which wasn’t an issue for us, but may be for some people. The property does have a shovel inside, which we used to clear a path for ourselves. Overall, a nice cute place that has everything you need for a few days at Kirkwood.

Doug’s concern for his guests and attention to detail starts with his check-in instructions/directions/recommendations. Thoughtful touches like fresh ground coffee and shampoo & body wash dispensers add to the experience, but it’s the custom lighting he’s got going on that really rounds it all out. Couldn’t ask for a more convenient location. Thanks Doug! We had a great stay.

We had a great experience. There was one minor issue that was resolved quickly and the communication was excellent. We would certainly stay here again!

We were very comfortable at this condo. we enjoyed the easy access to ski resort and the nice neighborhood, with library and pizza place.

Charming condo in a great location. Really enjoyed our time there. Also really appreciated how easy check-in was. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Great wifi and all the necessary sports tv channels.

We like Bear Valley, beautiful place, great skiing, friendly people, everything you are looking for: mountains, ski rentals, gas station, store, bar, etc. The condo rentals are expensive, but we wanted a White Christmas - and we got it!

This stay made us want to buy a place in Bear Valley. The people who live and work here are so friendly and helpful. Extremely well-appointed kitchen - nice knives, pots/pans. Tastefully decorated.

Location can't be beat! Perfect for a weekend ski trip.

We had a great weekend staying in the Tamarack condominium. We had young children and the place worked perfectly — everyone was able to sleep.

Great condo in a great location. The proximity to the lodge and shuttle was convenient. The condo itself is large and well-equipped. In particular, everything was in good repair. There's a new couch and chair, and the mattresses were of good quality. Kitchen is fairly well stocked, and there is plenty of storage and closets. Overall very happy with the stay.

Unit was clean, beds were very comfortable and we had a wonderful stay!
