It is 12-15 minutes drive to Downtown ( Use Uber to take advantage of downtown Savannah's open container laws) and 10 minutes to the beach at Tybee Island. Guests love our Coastal Cottage so much, we decided to turn a few rooms in our home into the Coast Suite! The suite is private, with a separate entrance. We provide all you need to enjoy the beautiful Golden Isles. Located in enchanting Brunswick, GA, we sit one mile from Jekyll Island and St. Simons Island causeways. We are pet lovers! So your pets are welcome. There is a $25 one time pet fee per pet to help cover the cost of the extra cleaning needed when our furry guests check out.

The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.
