Vi hadde et flott opphold hos Marco og vennen hans. Vi ble godt tatt imot av Sajeeva, som var veldig gjestfri. Han ga oss fine tips og var alltid i nærheten dersom det skulle være noe. Rommene var flotte, og interiøret var veldig gjennomført. Barna elsket stedet og følte seg veldig trygge. Det beste med oppholdet var at vi bidro til det flotte prosjektet de driver. Jeg synes det er helt fantastisk at de gir barn muligheten til å gå på skole. Jeg kommer helt klart tilbake og ønsker å følge med på utviklingen av skolen og den nye kaféen. Jeg håper dere setter opp en innsamlingsaksjon hvor folk kan bidra. Takk for oss😊

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie auf den Fotos – sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage war ideal, ruhig und dennoch gut angebunden. Besonders gefallen hat mir Zugang zum Strand. Raj war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Besonders die beiden Haushälter/innen waren grandios. Die waren so freundlich und haben einen tollen Service angeboten. Vielen Dank nochmal an Mani & Kawshika Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen – vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

We (family of four with young kids) came across this house and loved it, but it didn’t have a bed for our one year old daughter, so we sent Vic a message and he went out of his way to find one. Great start! When we got there, the house was even better than the pictures give away: private villa on the quiet outskirts of Ahangama, but a five minute tuk tuk ride will get you to the town’s centre where all the restaurants and such are. Modern bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, nice kitchen and living room, beautiful pool, huge patio with a roof over it, monkeys in the trees in the morning etc. etc. I contacted Vic several times during our stay and always got quick replies with great advice - places to eat, tuk tuk drivers, surf coach and places to see. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again myself some day!

We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

We rented the Moss Villa for a whole month and absolutely loved it. The garden and pool are beautiful and well maintained — a peaceful oasis just 5 minutes by bicycle from awesome surf spots and Ahangama town. It’s quiet, yet close enough to walk or cycle anywhere, with tuk-tuks always available too. The villa had everything we needed: comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, good Wi-Fi, and a stunning outdoor area. Our 3-year-old also had a great time! The owners were wonderful — great communication from booking to checkout and always helpful during our stay. We’d definitely come back and highly recommend it!

Incroyable séjour chez Till et Claire. Un couple adorable qui a été aux petits soins avec nous. Nous étions 6 voyageuses et avons été extrêmement confortable dans leur logement avec air conditionné et salle de bains dans toutes les chambres. L’espace extérieur est magnifique. Ils ont aussi été flexibles avec nous pour le Check out. 100% recomendable

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Mimis kleines Paradies (eigentlich eher riesig) hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Bilder auf Airbnb sind schon toll, aber in der Realität, ist das Anwesen noch viel schöner! Die Architektur ist beeindruckend. Haus, Garten und Pool bilden eine perfekte Einheit. Überall gibt es schöne Plätze die zum verweilen einladen. Wir waren zu siebt auf Sri Lanka Tour und der krönende Abschluss, waren die 4 Nächte in Mimis Haus. Dank Kapila, Manjula und Raja konnten wir unseren Aufenthalt in vollen Zügen genießen und einfach nur entspannen! Die drei Herren sind super freundlich, liebenswert und hilfsbereit. Manjula hat uns landestypisch bekocht, köstlich, authentisch und nur ein kleines bisschen scharf. Zum Glück. Vielen vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Amazing Stay – Highly Recommended! We had a fantastic time at this villa! The property was clean, beautifully maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The ambiance was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spacious, the amenities were top-notch. Chef Sammy’s food was superb! Very accommodating and he catered to our requirement without a hesitation and Thari was so helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a perfect holiday experience!

Met vriendinnen hebben wij hier 5 nachten geslapen! Ruime villa met goede bedden en mooie badkamers. Daarnaast kon er elke dag naar wens ontbijt gemaakt worden en diner was ook mogelijk, altijd erg smaakvol. Alles was makkelijk te lopen, restaurants en winkeltjes. Daarnaast was iedereen erg behulpzaam.

Very difficult to put into words how wonderful the villa is. Very easy to find, great welcome, kitchen well stocked. 3 big bedrooms; 2 with outside showers. The housekeepers really make the stay. They prepare breakfast each morning to be eaten outside by the pool. They will also cook dinner if required, which, frankly was the best food we ate in Sri Lanka. The pool is lovely and in shade. In fact I’d say the property and experience is better than described. 10 mins by the gardeners tuk tuk to Mirissa Beach and restaurants. Thank you!

Awesome place. The host is very helpful and can organize anything you need like scooter etc. nice location just off the main road. Bed comfortable and the AC works well. Really great experience

Wunderschön renovierte Villa direkt an einem einsamen Strand gelegen. Nach hinten raus somit mehr als großartig .Wenn man bis zu Nase in den Pool eintaucht ,verschmilzt dieser mit dem dahinter gelegenen Meer 🤍.Sie liegt aber direkt an einer Straße und wenn man im Garten ist ,hört man dieses auch.(Hat uns aber nicht sonderlich gestört.Bei uns hatte aber ein Geschäft auf der anderen Seite eröffnet und der beschallte uns einen Tag mit vielleicht etwas lauter Musik 🙈) Wir nutzten die Villa am Ende unserer Reise um etwas zu entspannen. Daher ideal für uns gelegen und somit nicht schlimm,dass die Gegend touristisch nicht ganz so erschlossen ist. Morgens wir ein inkludiertes Villa Frühstück angeboten und wir hatten Barbecue und Curry bestellen können. Die Jungs waren immer extrem freundlich und quasi auf „Knopfdruck“für uns da.Sie sprachen zwar kaum Englisch ,dafür war der Manager der Villa ,Sampath,immer per Handy erreichbar und extrem hilfsbereit. Wir können die Villa sehr empfehlen .

We had the most wonderful stay at Etamba House. This Geoffrey Bawa inspired property is beautiful and even better than the photos suggest. The rooms are huge and tastefully decorated with an elegant nod to Sri Lanka's past. The bathrooms are inside/outside with beautiful showers and plenty of space. The service from Michael and Shehan was exceptional. Breakfast is different each day with a set menu but they're flexible to your requests. the dinner that Talakshi prepares is wonderful (the portions are huge!). Can't say anything bad about this place. Go and stay there. Enjoy this beautiful home and the peace and quiet that surrounds it.

We had an awesome time at Rakis. the property was everything we hoped for from the beautiful pool to spacious rooms. It was private and cosy . The chef & all staff were friendly and accomadating ! we will be back

Het is een magisch plekje om helemaal tot rust te komen. Je kan op avontuur in eigen tuin, we hebben meerdere prachtige foto’s kunnen maken van de wildlife wat er is. Iedere avond tijdens schemering zagen we de vleerhonden wakker worden en over ons heen vliegen. Voor liefhebbers van de schoonheid van de natuur ben je hier op de goeie plek. Het eten is fantastisch zowel ontbijt als avond eten. Ook staan er 2 leuke fietsen om de omgeving te verkennen. Niet twijfelen, boeken en genieten!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit hier! Die Unterkunft und das Gelände sind wunderschön und sehr gepflegt! Die Cabana ist sehr sauber und perfekt ausgestattet mit AC und wir haben das Außenbad so geliebt! Der Blick ins Grüne ist unglaublich schön und wir konnten viele Tiere sehen wie Affen, Pfauen, Vögel und Streifenhörnchen. Die Geräuschkulisse ist perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich herzlich und aufmerksam. Sie waren stets als Ansprechpartner zur Verfügung und gaben uns viele gute und hilfreiche Tipps für die Umgebung und ganz Sri Lanka. Das Frühstück und das Abendessen, was sie für uns zubereiteten war so lecker und frisch und sie gingen auf unsere Wünsche ein. Wir haben uns hier wie zuhause gefühlt und jede Sekunde hier geliebt. Diese Unterkunft ist wirklich ein versteckter Diamant. Wir legen jedem diese Unterkunft ans Herz! Vielen Dank für alles!

Had a great time staying here - the house is big, aircon and fans work well (also great to have a portable fan in the kitchen). Internet was great and handled simultaneous virtual meetings without any problem, when it slowed down one day Kasun quickly responded and fixed it in moments. The family invited us over for their New Year celebrations which was lovely and they were super helpful and responded quickly when we had an issue with the fridge. it's a bit up a hill in a more quiet local area so we rented bicycles to get around. Monkeys come to visit the yard and lots of different birds. Little convenience store just next door is also super convenient for water, milk, eggs and other basics (also lovely people!). Highly recommended !

Ich habe fast drei Monate im mi Casa gewohnt und mich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Bei meiner Anreise wurde ich schon so nett und freundlich empfangen. Lex hatte für mich eingekauft , ein riesigen Korb mit Früchten und die Küche war komplett ausgestattet. Kaffee , Tee, Brot, Butter , Öl zum Braten , Gewürze und 20 Liter Trinkwasser. Lex ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber der einem immer mit Rat und tat zur Seite steht. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

We hebben een hele prettige tijd gehad in de mooie woning. We zouden deze plek zeker aanbevelen! De host is prettig in omgang en reageert snel.

Shamila wasn't present personally but he ensured all the things are in place :) His mother was very helpful and considerate. We used the utensils and tried to make as less dirty as possible :P Location is spot on, away from hustle-bustle of the town and close to the bus stop. We will recommend the stay for all our friends :)

Wir haben eine Unterkunft hier gefunden… unglaublich, um alles zu beschreiben. Der Platz war wie auf einem anderen Planeten, so unheimlich schön ! Mehr Privatsphäre geht nicht! Das Haus ist super , alles sauber und in einem tollen kolonialen Stil gehalten. Der Garten ist wunderschön. Aber das absolute Highlight: der private Strand mit einem natürlichen Pool. Ich bin heute noch am Schwärmen von diesem Platz. Ein großes Lob auch an das Personal! Immer höflich und immer am Arbeiten, um alles schön und sauber zu halten. Wir sind nach 7 Tagen ungern abgereist! Danke für dieses traumhafte Plätzchen auf unserer Erde

Piumi and her family are very nice people. During our stay there I unfortunately had stomach problems and the family did everything they could to make me feel better. They are honest, lovable people. Piumi and her dad speak good English so there was no problem communicating either. Her mum prepared delicious food for breakfast or dinner and always had a kind gesture or two towards us. There is a beautiful jungle around the house where monkeys were jumping every morning, but we also saw a mongoose and a monitor lizard in the garden. The bathroom has good hot water, which is quite unique in Sri Lanka. I can only recommend them if you want an authentic Sri Lankan experience! Thank you truly for everything and hope to see you in the near future.
