We loved our week at Ivy Cottage. Our boys loved the football nets and we all loved the hot tub! The house had everything we needed and we really appreciated the little added extras that made it feel very homely. Great location too. We’ll be back!

Fabulous place to stay. Susan and Phil great hosts. Always available to answer questions but not in any way intrusive. Accommodation is first class/absolutely faultless. Ideal location for visiting the many surrounding towns and attractions. Would highly recommend Susan and Phil's place.

I absolutely loved our stay at Barnacre Alpacas, we stayed in the rose cottage, it was very clean and the hot tub was a bonus. We enjoyed the alpaca walk and talk, that was something I’ll never forget! On arrival the cottage was dressed up for a birthday surprise and champagne and chocolates was left for us. Thank you to Paul and Debbie, we will be back!

Thanks Ben, we had a great weekend at Stanley Cottage. We really appreciated all the thoughtful touches, dog treats, human treats, phone chargers, hair straighteners, bathroom products!! The cottage was very comfortable and the hot tub a welcome pause, thank you.

Great house right in the centre of Amble and easily walkable to the harbour and many pubs, restaurants and shops. Amble was a lovely place with lots to do including boat trips, and a great riverside walk to Warkworth. Very warm and well equipped house with comfortable beds, fluffy towels and stunning bathrooms. We enjoyed the hot tub outside. Tesco opposite was very handy, and we enjoyed an outstanding meal at Jasper’s bistro round the corner. Parking outside was easy overnight, and the local car park behind Tesco (with electric charging) was only £9 for 72 hours. Note that the car park adjacent to next door property was not long stay. Had a really enjoyable stay at this house and would highly recommend.

Angela’s place was fabulous, we have young children and Angela went above and beyond to make our stay great, would definitely recommend to others, Angela is a wonderful host! The cottage is also very well equipped and clean!

We went as a family for a 60th birthday. Anna was such a good host, very informative and very helpful. The house was so well laid out for such an occasion, the kitchen was a hub of activity making family meals . It was so nice to feel right at home from the start. All the facilities have been carefully thought out. The hot tub was a very welcome addition. The house is in an ideal spot for days out in beautiful Northumberland. we had a really relaxing 3 days in a beautiful home and will definitely return.

Mark’s and Michelle’s home is by far the best place we’ve stayed in. Everything’s exactly what was in the description— all the amenities are well cared for and the attention to detail are well thought of. So you can also expect a luxurious and pleasant getaway for a reasonable price. Thank you again to you both for your warm hospitality! We’ve had perfect and relaxing weekend rest. We’ll for sure come back— a little longer stay next time.

We had a lovely stay. The house is beautiful and well presented. Location is great enough out of the way to relax but close enough to lots of different things to do to keep the kids busy. Well equipped with everything you could need to make the stay easy and comfortable.

Loved this cottage - comfortable, cosy and clean, and a very generous welcome basket from the host. The location was fantastic with a great beach and dog friendly places to eat out in the village. It was also a good base to travel to other places in Northumberland for days out. Highly recommended.

Lovely cottage that had everything we neede! in beautiful surroundings. Debi and Mike were really great hosts who communicated well, as well as going the extra mile by putting birthday decorations up for my husband's birthday! We'll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay at the Quirky house in a great location. Diane was very attentive if we needed anything and for any questions we might have also lots of information of places to eat and visit in the area .

Outstanding cottage, would love to come back soon! The photos don’t do it justice! It’s even better when you’re there. Spotlessly clean, beautiful kitchen/dining room and comfortable bed. The views from the back garden were fab! I can’t recommend this enough, would have happily stayed there longer and will definitely return. It was a lovely gesture that Kate even baked for us!! Exceptionally clean end of terrace cottage. Very well presented and comfortable. Lots of thought and care gone into this little cottage, it was lovely. The description did not mention the busy street location, but this was not an issue, inside was quiet as was the courtyard garden at the back.

We had a lovely stay in the cottage, it was clean & tidy, loved the wood burner, the bedrooms were lovely especially the master bedroom…very comfy bed. Loved the garden with lots of different seating areas, beautiful view & very peaceful. A 2 minute walk up to the town for shops, restaurants & bars & a 5 minute walk down to the dairy milk bar for fabulous ice creams & milkshakes. Lots of gorgeous near by walks too. A lovely stay & would definitely book again. Thank you Pam.

Very relaxing break in a lovely home. The area is quiet and peaceful. Lovely walk along the promenade to cafe needles eye (definitely worth a visit!)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was as we expected except the teapot was too small for four people and there was a mismatch of glasses. Pretty trivial but quite important. Otherwise great place to stay and great location.

Very clean, quiet and comfortable. Easy parking outside the house. The house is beautifully decorated, every thin you could need is supplied. Beds very comfortable and nice clean fresh bed linen and towels. Lovely bathroom and powerful shower. All in all a lovely home, close to beach and easy access to other places of interest. Would recommend staying there

Excellent location in beautiful Northumberland- central for all visitor attractions- great walking area- well equipped private bothy with stunning views- perfect for long dog walks on beaches- close to local pubs and restaurants to relax after some beautiful sunny days- thanks also for welcome pack of amazing cake ,chocolate and Prosecco . Would thoroughly recommend to my friends and look forward to returning in the future.

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Hethpool. Eildon was a wonderful host. We would not hesitate in returning to Hethpool Cottage and intend to do so. I have already been singing its praises to colleagues

we had a lovely relaxing stay. The cottage was tucked away in a peaceful location but still walking distance to go into town. lovely places to eat and plenty of shops. We enjoyed the local crafts at the market. So much to do in the surrounding area
