Located right on Birkie Ridge Trailhead with close access to vast CAMBA trails, this is a nature escape for outdoor enthusiasts who love to bike, ski, hike, and bird watch. Enjoy ski-in ski-out to groomed trails, bike-in bike-out right onto trails, then cozy up by the woodstove or fire-pit at night.

Warm up by the wood-burning fireplace inside or gather around the outdoor fire pit under the stars. The outdoor fire pit is only accessible from May-November. Summer is for the lake. The Borealis House is located on Superior St. in Downtown Duluth with a pedestrian bridge path and garden directly behind the building connecting you to Canal Park and the Duluth Lake Walk. All rooms are on one level with elevator access - except the rooftop sunroom and deck.

Deer Haven is a tiny house (192 sq feet) located in my backyard, overlooking acres of woodland. The space is small and simple. Get to the queen bed in the sleeping loft by climbing the ladder. Bathroom has a toilet and stock tank shower. The kitchen has basic amenities - fridge, microwave, hot plate, griddle, dishes, etc. Best spot in the house is on the couch, where you can see the fireplace and the gorgeous woods out the patio door.

This charming one-bedroom cottage sits peacefully by the tree line, inviting you to start your mornings with coffee on the private porch.
