Forest Yurt has all of the spirit of an off-grid forest yurt, in a quiet Anchorage neighborhood, 5 mins from airport. This 16' partial off-grid unit is wood stove heated (cut wood included), or guests can use a space heater. Comfortable full bed. Basic kitchenette amenities available: microwave, hot plate, tools, pans. No plumbing; sink and toilet are an eco- friendly Boxio system. Next to a forested park with trails. Lake Log Cabin

Our lake log cabin in located on beautiful Carpenter Lake. While small and somewhat rustic, it has a loft bedroom accessible via a spiral staircase with a queen size bed and a downstairs bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed. The cabin has a full kitchen and a small bathroom with a shower. The sun room was our favorite place to hang out when we lived in the cabin with views of the lake and the rest of the property.

15 miles north of Anchorage our property is 4 acres of woodlands with a view of the mountains and frequent visits from Alaska wildlife. We live within 5 miles of 7 different public access lakes & are between Anchorage & the Matanuska Susitna Valley. There is additional off street parking for a boat and/or RV.
