Forest Floor Guesthouse

The lower level of our Jewel Lake Home with a separate entry, and fun backyard. This is a recent remodel; an eclectic space with vintage wood ceilings and a blend of industrial+ modern detailing. We are 5 minute drive from the airport, and guests can enjoy Alaskan wilderness right from this space. A forested trail system lies right behind our house for walking and biking. Guests may collect eggs from our chickens, use our forest-side hot tub, stoke the firepit, or use paddle boards at Sand Lake.

Denali View! Sauna! 1 mile to Glen Alps/Flattop TH

Lone Pine Cottage is nestled against the Chugach State Park. Walk out the front door and explore the meadow of wildflowers below, or the forest next to the cottage which leads directly into the Chugach. The Glen Alps/Flattop Trailhead is 1 mile up the road and provides easy access to amazing hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing, climbing, and skiing adventures. Enjoy the unobstructed views of Denali/Mt. McKinley, “Sleeping Lady” (Mount Susitna), and the Anchorage skyline from 1600ft elev.

Creekside Chalet is nestled in the forest near Peters Creek in Chugiak, 25 minutes from Anchorage or Wasilla/Palmer. A peaceful & unique retreat just minutes from hiking trails, lakes, winter skiing, & access to Chugach State Park. This property offers wi-fi, large TVs, a full kitchen, open living space, washer/dryer, & private bedroom with blackout curtains. Enjoy a wrap-around deck with outdoor dining & forested pathway to fireplace overlooking the creek. Winter use requires AWD/4WD vehicle.

We aim for you to feel as though you’re visiting family. The property features a spacious yard with a swing set & sandbox for kids. Cozy, family friendly Chalet in the beautiful South Fork Valley of Eagle River. If you are looking for a 5-Star Hotel, this place is not for you. What we do offer is a serene and peaceful home in the mountains with a rugged natural landscape, and occasional visits from bear and moose. If you’re lucky, you may have a front row seat to Lady Aurora dancing from the spacious and comfy hot tub! We are roughly forty-minutes North of the Airport, and 15 minutes away from downtown ER.

End of the Road Cottage in Hope, AK

This cottage sits at the end of a quiet road just a 10 minute walk from downtown Hope, AK. The house is on 3 acres and has great sun on the deck. The cottage has heat and electricity. Bathroom includes hot shower, sink and toilet. Kitchen is fully furnished. Queen sized Bed is in loft up a steep staircase. Owners are next door and happy to answer questions, particularly about rafting Sixmile Creek, as Gareth is a guide for FlowAK. Be advised there is no gas station in Hope!
