This is a wonderful place. Perfect for a couples get a way. Private dock to fish off or park your boat. The Host Robin was Amazing. We had 1 issue at the cabin and Robin responded immediately and had it taken care of. This was our first time at lake hartwell and we will going back and staying in the cabin again.

Elisabeth was such a wonderful host, extremely communicative and responsive. The property was gorgeous and described perfectly. From the hottub instructions, to the heads up about the narrow staircase, nothing at the property was a surprise or unexpected. Very peaceful and relaxing, April was the perfect time to visit, in our opinion. Nothing crazy going on nearby, not too busy anywhere we went including State Parks, and restaurants. Weather was beautiful and the fresh air was much needed. My husband and I have decided we’d like to make this an annual trip and continue to stay at this property when possible.

Great stay! Cabin in the woods feel but right off a main road down to creaky floors and beds. We didn’t mind but bring white noise if sounds bother you. Our kids loved the games. Great communication and we had everything we needed!

I’ve stayed at several Airbnb, but this one is by far the best one that I have stayed at it is absolutely beautiful cozy, and quiet very clean plenty of room for two people and the bed is very comfortable we slept great We cannot wait to come back.

What a amazing place ! My wife and I came for a weekend getaway and were blown away by how accommodating Mimi and Gene were . The place was above and beyond what we expected ! Absolutely adorable place and perfectly equipped with everything you need for a great stay ! Can’t say enough about the place and the hosts ! We booked another stay here within hours of checking in ! We have stayed at a lot of air bnbs and this has to be up there with one of our favorites :)

The house was beautiful and clean. Enjoyed our weekend away relaxed in the hot tub and the dome was a neat addition to the stay.

We stayed at Lizard Lodge for 5 nights and it was absolutely perfect. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and exactly as shown in the listing only better in person! We loved the location and how peaceful the surroundings of the cabin were. Enjoyed walking down to the lake and fishing a bit. Enjoyed the fire pit one night and enjoyed the hot tub twice and sitting on the swing down on the dock and on the front porch. Enjoyed having dinner on the back deck and watching the birds. Saw beautiful cardinals every day. The beds were very comfortable - slept great! Most of all, I can’t say enough about Sabir and co-host, Jennifer. They were very helpful and responded to any questions we had extremely quickly. This cabin was perfect for my family and they all agree how beautiful and comfortable it was. I would not hesitate to stay at Lizard Lodge again!

The place where you can feel close to nature, a peaceful place surrounded a birds singing and trees and the definitely worthy place to visit because of the hot tub in the middle of this paradise. It was so good! Definitely recommend this place!

Host was very good at providing information to us prior to check in. Place was clean and accommodating. Very convenient for events near Green Pond landing. The covered boat storage is an amazing plus for fisherman!

Carey and Jeremy's cabin was gorgeous! Inside and out! The view from the cabin is amazing and Table Rock has amazing hiking. Our pup loved it too. The pictures did not do it justice, it is even better in person. Don't hesitate to stay here, best airbnb we ever stayed! Thank you again for hosting us!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the cabin - it was peaceful and relaxing . Rhonda was quick to answer any and all of our questions , and showed us true southern hospitality . We spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch , enjoying the quiet and the beautiful weather . Thank-you for sharing your cabin with us !

The cabin and lake is even better in person. I highly recommend for anyone trying to get away from the hustle and bustle to disconnect for a few days. Ryan is a great host, and the experience was amazing. 11/10

I think we’ve found our home away from home! I have never stayed any place where I felt so welcomed.

This property is phenomenal. House is adorable and clean and has everything you could possibly need. The location is so very cool on the river and so much privacy and space. The owner is very helpful, responsive, and has really taken perfect care of the place. Really an amazing vacation rental and would love to go back anytime and would highly suggest for anyone wanting to be in this area. This is the place to be!

This property was perfect for what we were looking for. We had age ranges of a 10-year-old to an 80-year-old and they all loved it. The cabin felt so spacious and had everything you would ever need. The property outside was filled with extras. There was a fire pit with wood, a creek, fishing poles, etc. The cabin had plenty of space for privacy but also a big living room/kitchen that was an open space for the family to hang out. No one wanted to leave and go back to their normal lives. It was so relaxing. This was a vacation we will never forget.

Great place for a relaxing getaway near Lake Jocassee. The space was cozy and comfortable and less than 5 minutes away from the lake. I will definitely be staying again!

Perfect Lake Hartwell gem, so close to Clemson and right on the lake. So many beds! Wonderful multiple family house!

We loved it . Just what we needed to spend time together and relax .. Close to shopping area and yet secluded .. We will be back !

We were working for power company for hurricane helene and booked it last minute. Joanna was amazing letting us stay last minute helped us out tremendously!!!!! We would have had to sleep in our trucks if she didn’t help us out. great host

we really can't say enough kind things about Sandra and her family, they welcome us right in invited us to their family dinner very very kind folk we would love to get back out there and stay with them again perhaps in the springtime... what a great find we really enjoyed it thank you again 🦋

Gail’s cabin far exceeded our expectations! It was very clean, tidy and had everything we needed and more. It is in a great location on the river and very peaceful. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the deck with views of the river. The sunroom also provided a great place to eat while enjoying the views of the river from the inside! The wildlife experience was one of the best. There was a beautiful hawk perched right outside the kitchen window while we cooked breakfast. We also learned a lot about Muscovy ducks when we asked Gail about them and were excited to see the recently hatched ducklings. There were folding chairs available for us to take down to the dock and it was a great place to relax and fish! This was such a great experience that we are already making plans to return next month! We highly recommend Gail’s cabin for a great getaway!

My family and I needed a last minute stay for Easter and we were so happy to have found this gem! You cannot beat the location! It is just a block across from beautiful downtown Simpsonville! We were able to walk most places we needed. The cabin was super cute & provided all the necessary items for a stay. I was able to cook a full holiday meal! The host was quick and responsive & we found the price to reflect a quality 5 star stay without breaking bank!
