Wonderful cottage in a lovely location. It was a perfect base for visiting family in the area. The house is spacious with a well equipped kitchen and a homely feel. We would definitely book again! The children loved seeing the steam train go past.

Lovely stay, great location to climb Snowdon and then relaxing in the hot tub afterwards!

The Old Stables might be the most interesting house I've ever stayed in. Cozy. And quirky. Kids loved it! It features hidden closets, a hidden bedroom for two dwarfs, a hidden laundry room and even a hidden toilet. We counted at least 78 places one can hide stuff in. There's a vampire house next doors and a cemetery behind it. The living room is spacious, there's a separate corner for reading upstairs and a big table for board games. The beds are comfy. Everything worked and was clean. Jane was very comunicative and helpful. She even lent us a vacuum cleaner for our car when the kids made mess in it. Tall and plus-size fellows, beware though. There's low ceilings, very low arches and corridors one has to literally squeeze through. While we loved the house, it might not be for everyone. Heartily recommended.

If you are looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by amazing views, then Rhians place is perfect for that. Fully off the beaten track yet only 10 mins drive from Bala with all its shops, cafes and outdoor sports. The Old Barn is basic but you have everything you need for a comfortable stay

Mirka was a great host, really good communication and making sure we were okay. Location beautiful, very peaceful with great views of lambs and sheep going about their day! Was only 10 minutes or so drive from Porthmadog and Criccieth, so we found it easy to venture out when we needed. Cottage was clean and tidy with everything we needed.

Stunningly beautiful location with a gorgeous garden and outdoor furniture. Charming, cosy, well-equipped accommodation. Friendly, helpful owner - nothing too much trouble. Will definitely recommend, or keep to ourselves for next time!

Absolutely stunning location. Charlotte and Nick were impeccable hosts. The cottage was exceptionally clean, tidy and beautifully decorated. Our kids loved the curtained bunks and the beds were super comfortable and just what we needed after a day out walking. Wish we could have stayed much longer. Thank you very much indeed for letting us share your Welsh paradise!

Suzy was the most lovely, friendly host & The Cowshed was a perfect, cosy little base for exploring the beautiful Llyn Peninsula . The sofa was comfy , the shower was great & the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals after exploring the gorgeous surrounding area ! We visited Criccieth, Abersoch and Aberdaron - but our favourite walks were at Porthor ( “Whistling Sands” ) and the very picturesque coastline of Morfa Nefyn & Porthdinllaen ( with a quick stop off at the iconic Ty Coch Inn ! ) on this particular walk ! All of these places were within a short drive of The Cowshed . Thank you SO much Suzy for a really relaxing and wonderful stay - Caroline & Paul xx

Robin and Lois have the most gorgeous place, a proper little home away from home. Had everything we could need and stunning views - we loved watching the sheep in particular. The what3words address took us right to where we were staying and hosts were lovely, helpful and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely 5-night stay at the cottage – exactly the peaceful retreat we hoped for. Mornings began with birdsong and distant lambs, like a countryside dream. The April weather was surprisingly glorious, and after days out exploring, the cold nights made cozy fireside movie evenings just perfect. We felt so welcomed on arrival – a tray with our names, fresh shortbread, teas, coffee, and milk in the fridge was such a thoughtful touch. The cottage was clean and well-equipped with essentials. Beds were comfy, with fresh, clean white bedding and towels. The drawer of leaflets and well-organised folders with tips and instructions were super helpful. The location was ideal for exploring North Wales – peaceful, charming, and just 10 mins from Betws-y-Coed. A perfect base for our trip, clearly hosted with genuine care. We'd return in a heartbeat!

A beautiful stay in the remote Welsh countryside – just what we needed. David and Heather were fantastic hosts and even baked us a gorgeous dairy-free lemon cake and biscuits (thank you so so much!). Everything was pristine and exactly as shown on the website. A short drive from stunning walks, railways and the sea. 10/10 would recommend.

Myself, my partner and our 8 month old daughter had such a lovely week stay at Gorse Barn, it was every bit comfortable and cosy, had everything we needed. the surrounding location was very peaceful, the welcome basket was such a lovely touch, we loved musing through the books and DVDs and even watched one, there's a beautiful view point just over the fields for sunsets and sunrises...we absolutely recommend staying here, we had the opportunity to look at the other two properties and found all of them equally as stunning, we definitely plan on visiting again in the future. We have just returned fiona and Richards place in north wales and it was absolutely unique . I’m quite fussy but their barn conversion was beautiful , interesting , amazing decor and really so clean and stylish and welcoming - wow what a place ! We met Richard and Fiona and i was indulgent and had an hrs crystal therapy .. very special .. Fiona definitely has the magic . We white water rafted at the national centre 15 mins away .. such fun ! Unmissable ! And we dined at a local pub ten mins away … which was heaven . Would defo book this again as the accommodation was so well equipped and location was great .. peaceful and very grounding … chickens ducks . Sheep and of course beautiful Ted the dog ! It was a ten out of ten from us . Ellen and Dave

we had a lovely stay for three nights and 4 days thanks topp from Bethan and the lovely surroundings. we would definitely recommend this for a group or family holiday location.... so close to beautiful Snowdonia and within an easy Drive of the coast.

We stayed here for a couple of nights and were very impressed with this beautiful loft conversion, great location for the walking trips we did and very peaceful. loved it.

We had the most amazing stay here for my birthday. The surroundings were so peaceful and seeing a sky full of stars was amazing after living in a city. The amenities of the place were amazing and the logs included was a massive pro - in other airbandbs we’ve had to take our own. The instructions were easy to follow and I would recommend everyone to stay in the barn owl :)

Very friendly hosts. Super helpful recommendations and guidance on the local area. We had an action packed short stay (2 families of 4) with local riding to suit all abilities, Zip world not far away (which the children loved) and a gorgeous beach. The table football was a firm favourite for the evenings, and the bike track on site was also a bit hit. Secure bike store was very useful and the drying room came in handy after our rainy bike ride. We would all recommend to others.

Beautifully renovated property & really well equipped for a comfortable break with a young family. Convenient location in peaceful surroundings for visiting Anglesey, Caernarfon, Snowdonia, etc. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Beautiful converted modern barn. We were pleasantly surprised by the neighbours, the beautiful sheep and lambs! The place was absolutely spotless, perfect for our family of 4 and doggo. We will be back!

Had a fantastic stay. Toby was a great host and very welcoming. The grounds are lovely and the sauna was amazing. We really enjoyed the home theatre and projector in the evenings. Great facilities and incredible views. The private boat lake was amazing as well. Couldn't have chosen a better place for us. It was perfect.

We stayed with our friends at Alison’s and Dan’s stunning property. They are both warm and friendly hosts and are super helpful. Their property is located in peaceful and relaxing surroundings and is perfectly located to explore the countryside. Overall we had a fabulous stay and we look forward to visiting again!

We had such a lovely time staying at Stablau’r Esgob! It was clean and clearly put together with a lot of care. The little welcome treats-Welsh cakes, chocolates, and milk-were such a sweet surprise. The log burner made the place extra cozy, and we were totally charmed by the little pigeons on the ceiling - unexpected roommates, but very cute ones! Would definitely stay again!
