Our yurt is located in a pocket of trees next to rolling farm fields and beautiful conservation land that the Rocklyn creek meanders through. You can prepare your meals in a sweet outdoor kitchen that is entirely screened in- or choose to sit by the fire. Bruce Trail access is just around the corner, and the towns of Meaford and Owen Sound are a short scenic drive away.

Mountain View Getaway Yurt

Come enjoy country living in beautiful western Albemarle county. Our yurt is on a 13 acre property on a quiet country road. (My husband and I also have our home about 200 ft away from yurt). The yurt features a relaxing outdoor claw foot tub/shower with beautiful country views. The private bathroom is situated on the deck of the yurt. The pool is a shared space directly behind our home. The wooded part of the property is private with a beautiful walking trail for you to enjoy.

Summer season open from (May 8 - Oct 31, 2026) and Winter Season (Jan-April weekends only). We offer one night stays! Enjoy this secluded off grid (solar powered) cosy yurt, eclectic furnishings - situated in a private forest environment. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.
