You can stay in the temple grounds where religious activities of Jodo Shinshu (True Pure Land School) are being held. There is a main hall along with the head priest’s quarters (Kuri), and a spacious area covering ground of more than (100 Tsubo) 3600 sq ft with a separate cabin. After renovation made by a first-class architect, it has been made ready for accommodation.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!
