Quirky elevated cottage called Tigeen, little house in Irish. It is hard to adequately describe the beauty of the setting of this cottage, I fell in love with it before ever being inside. It is totally private without being isolated, it is on its own little hill overlooking the bay of Liscannor and within walking distance to the Cliffs. Inside the walls are 3-foot-thick with the cottage being over 200 years old and has hand -made interior wooden shutters to cover the large light filled windows

The Cottage has a lovely outdoor space surrounded by a rock garden and has views across Doolin village, the Cliffs of Moher and the Atlantic Coast.

The house is on the Wild Atlantic way and a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the links golf courses in Lahinch (5km) and Doonbeg (25km). Clairs Cottage is a beautifully renovated cottage that was built over 200 years ago. Situated on the Hags Head trail, this south facing cosy dwelling overlooks Liscannor bay and the Atlantic ocean, and it is one of the closest houses to the Cliffs of Moher trail.
