Ellas's cottage was built in 2001 for my late mother and was later home to my in-laws. Located in the picturesque fishing village of Portavogie, the cottage is a five-minute walk to beautiful sandy beaches and views to Scotland and the Isle of Man. Award winning Fish restaurant the Quays is located in the village with a fuel station and convenience stores located nearby. A short drive will take you to the Links Golf Course at Kirkiston Castle. further leading you to St Patrick's trail.

The Little Birdhouse

Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. Close to the villages of Portaferry, Cloughey and Strangford, the area is rich in wildlife and heritage. Or just relax by the fire and soak up the magic of this unique place. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.
