This self contained modern Annex is situated in the picturesque village of Arrochar, on the banks of Loch Long, with stunning views of the "Cobbler" amidst the Arrochar Alps. It is an ideal base for walkers, cyclists, swimmers, kayakers & those wishing to experience the Scottish Highlands, within easy reach of Glasgow & Stirling. The mature gardens have extensive bird life, with red squirrels and deer visitors. The village has good train and bus connections and a few lovely old local pubs.

Argyll Retreat is a cosy timber cabin located in the Argyll Forest Park and Loch Lomond and Trossachs Natiomal Park. It is owned and managed by myself. The lodge is layed out for a couple or solo travellers. Argyll is steeped in history and has miles of coastline, lochs, forests and mountains. The lodge is also a great place to relax. Enjoy. Woodend Cottage - Carrick Castle, Lochgoilhead

Woodend is a beautiful detached cottage, built in the late 1800's and is one of the last remaining original cottages in Carrick Castle, but recently fully refurbished. The property is a 2 minute walk from the shores of Loch Goil and surrounded by mountains. It has its own enclosed garden and private driveway. It is easily accessible by car, being a 1 hour 15 minute drive from Glasgow airport, taking you along the stunning shores of Loch Lomond.
