This was our third time staying at Paul’s place. The house is fantastic. It was great to have a full kitchen as we like to prepare our own meals some of the time. We had a car so found it easy to get around the island. Very close to the airport which was handy. It’s not the best area for swimming or snorkelling, but the lagoon outlook is beautiful. We enjoyed afternoon strolls along the beach and ‘happy hour’ on the deck admiring the stunning sunsets. Paul was very easy to communicate with and very generously allowed us to check in a bit earlier which was very helpful. There’s a bakery and service station in walking distance which made grabbing a few essentials very easy, however we did a bigger shop at the local supermarket a 5 min drive away. We prefer to snorkel near The Rarotongan and opposite Chantal’s Concierge which was an easy drive towards the other end of the island. Overall a very comfortable stay at a reasonable price. You can’t go wrong at Paul’s.

The house was great, the location was perfect: it was easy to get to the beach and Muri town, and Cathy was wonderful to deal with and very helpful. We had a fantastic time!

Check in was smooth with clear instructions. Bob had great communication and recommendations when it came to booking vehicles for our stay. The accom was well maintained and cleaned regularly by their very welcoming cleaners. The pool was a hit and kids loved it! Would definitely come back here to stay in future

One of the best airbnb stays I've ever had. Tere and family made me feel welcome immediately, and are absolutely fantastic hosts. They gave me great recommendations on where to find good food, the convenience store that's open late, and best things to see and do. The penthouse is cozy and clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are stunning. Enjoy the sunsets from the balcony or the beach, which is a literal stone's throw away. Don't overthink this one. I'd happily stay in the penthouse again, or one of their villas. Meitaki ma'ata, thank you all for an amazing holiday!

Elizabeth place was as described, great location, plenty of parking, great views and facilities. No bugs. Communication was great. Very happy, thanks

Surf Mist truly felt like a home away from home, the accommodation had everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable. The pool was a bonus. Perfectly tucked away in a shaded spot under the trees, but with a sunny spot nearby for anyone keen to soak up the sun. Super relaxing! We really appreciate having a washing machine and dryer, such a bonus when travelling with family. We brought most of our food over from NZ, we made great use of the spacious kitchen. It was well equipped, and we really appreciate essentials like coffee, cooking oil, salt & pepper already stocked for us. The location was perfect, not too far inland, close to the beach and water activities. We highly recommend diving with turtles through Snorkel Rarotonga, an unforgettable experience! There’s also a gas station, takeaways, and a 24hour Wigsmore supermarket all within walking distance, which was super convenient. Our family absolutely loved our stay, we’ll definitely be booking with Surf Mist again!

A great place to stay. Close to town, walkable, shops and cafes within easy reach. Looking out directly to the lagoon every morning watching the whales every day was a real treat. Ian’s help with local resources and the time he spent explaining and showing us about coconuts etc and the conservation efforts being made around the island gave valuable insight into what is happening in Rarotonga. The bungalow was simple and clean, perfect for what we needed. Would stay again.

Great property, clean and spacious for a family, convenient location and the pool was awesome. They also had loads of extras. Sunblock and repellent coils were available. Toys for the pool and snorkels and beach shoes to use. Just be aware there are roosters that roam the property and give early morning wake up calls for all you ones that like to sleep in. Great host too that prompt when needed 😊
