Please note this is a Historic Shearer's Quarters. If you have mobility issues please be aware there are no ramps and only steps.

Our place is a unique architectural designed passive solar, straw bale home with recycled native wood and natural clay finish. Our stylish cottage has the best of both worlds. Rural, quiet setting, only a 3 minute drive from the fabulous Havelock North village. Situated on a very special, peaceful, slice of paradise, on an apple orchard, on the northern outskirts of the village. Minutes from Hawkes Bay's amazing attractions. A twenty five minute drive to the Napier airport. Our swimming pool is situated behind the main house, 30 meters over the paddock.

A quiet, relaxing self contained unit separate from the main house, located on the edge of Waipawa. Enjoy a drink on the deck looking out over the garden and listen to the birdsong. It's just a 10 minute walk to the shops, cafes, theatre and is handy to the cycle trails of Central Hawkes Bay. The beaches and Ruahine Ranges are not far away and it's only a 30 - 40 minute drive to Hastings or Napier.
