Our plan was to hike at the Lihesten, Gygrekjeften and this stood out as the perfect location for that for a group of 5 grown ups. Old house with simple features and a definitive charm. The host had made great efforts to make it a cosy alternative with a great view of our hiking-destination.

Nous avons passé un mois inoubliable dans cette jolie maison. L’aménagement, l’équipement, la décoration , l’accueil tout est excellent . La vue est un spectacle permanent sur le Fjörd et les montagnes enneigées ,que vous dominez ,quelque soit les heures de là journée et du temps. Vous êtes situé dans un lieu stratégique pour visiter cette très jolie partie de la Norvège avec les conseils judicieux de Bjorg et Inge. Merci encore ,nous reviendrons assurément. Mimi et Marcel

we absolutely loved everything! we were just with 2 persons and used the upper floor. everything we needed was there. the weather wasn't great so one afternoon we good even enjoy ourselves with a boardgame of rummikub that was there. the view from the relaxing chairs was very nice.

Hos Silje får du et hyggelig opphold i idylliske omgivelser, litt utenfor allfarvei - og hvem vil vel ikke det? Huset er godt beskrevet i annonsen - under oppussing. Sengene var gode og huset stort og sjarmerende. Silje tok godt imot oss, og var rask på meldingene. Her får du en autentisk Airbnb-opplevelse, du bor hjemme hos noen - ikke i en steril leilighet beregnet kun på utleie. Et opphold vi kommer til å huske! hatten leider während des Aufenthalts Dauerregen und könnten nicht wirklich viel machen da es doch relativ angelegt ist. Die Unterkunft war sauer und wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Der Check in war reibungslos und entspannt.

Wir waren bereits mehrfach in Eide 1. Nach wie vor unser Top Ziel in Norwegen. Wetter war sehr gut, leider zu hohe Wassertemparatur und daher im Fjord wenig Fischaktivität. Klimawandel lässt grüßen, dafür kann der Vermieter nichts. Nächstes Jahr wieder zum früheren Zeitpunkt.

The most friendly, helpful and proactive host I’ve known on Airbnb. Had to leave earlier and she helped me with a discount. Helped me with lot of advices. Connected me with neighbours. Couldn’t ask for better service. I was there in November and without a car. Despite that there was enough bus connection and friendly neighbours ready to give me a ride to be able to move to some nice place and hikes around. The Hyllestad commune are so friendly they gave me bicycles for free. Bus drivers got to know me well and were also very helpful. In front of the house there are lovely mountains with nice hyttes to stay overnight. In and around Dale, very close by bus (less than 1h) you have the best hikes, and less than 2-3h in public transport (by bus or the ferry), you are in the main tourist destination of Sognfjord. The local shop is great. You can easily fish in the fjord for free. There are boat and kayak rental also. The place is exactly as pictured. Cosy, calm, clean, all perfect!!

Such an idyllic location. this place would be great for people who enjoy fishing, kayaking, other watersports and nature walks. The cabin was comfortable and had everything you needed. Perfect!
