A beautiful clean cabin in a wonderful part of Ohio!

We had a great time at Tiger Lily! The cottage was super clean, cute and cozy. Even better than the photos. We enjoyed all the extra touches and non-toxic offerings. The hot tub was a hit for our son who spent several hours in it during our stay. He can’t wait to go back! Our dog was equally excited about his cozy bed and fun toys as well as the fenced in yard. Truly a great stay for a small family. We didn’t explore too much, but we are more of a “hang out and relax” family so it was perfect. There isn’t an oven, but the cooktop, grill, and air fryer were all we needed. The cottage is perfect for two or a family with one child. I would definitely recommend Tiger Lily for a relaxing retreat. Chris and Lisa are terrific hosts!

We wanted to find a place that wasn’t too far from home but would still be a little escape to take our boys to every year. This was our second year staying at this house. We could probably go later in the summer when it’s warmer and have more to do, but we like to go in the spring time. It’s secluded but not far from town or stores. Very private. Loved the paddle boat! We look forward to staying again next year!

It has a good location and comfortable beds. Very Clean and well-organized, and Everything is functional. It was a pleasant stay for us, and I would recommend it.

Love this cabin! Our second stay here. Comfortable and roomy in a beautiful setting. We especially enjoy the electric fireplace, very cozy! 1st Choice Cabin Rentals hosts are helpful and quick to respond. Will definitely try to book this Airbnb next time.

I hate to give a such a glowing review because I don’t want to generate more competition to rent it in the future, but this venue was wonderful. We stayed this location for OU Mom’s Weekend & it was a fantastic choice! It was the perfect place to relax, connect and unwind when we weren’t in Athens. It had absolutely everything we could have wanted. It was a convenient Uber ride away & perfect for a group of moms. If you want a sweet place tucked away from the hustle with some cool country amenities, then this is the rental for you. It looks like they’re in the process of making improvements, but honestly the imperfections were part of its charm. Highly recommended!

1st choice was great. we had a minor issue when we arrived and discovered the hot tub was broken. I sent them a message and they called me in minutes, explained the issue, apologized for not letting us know beforehand and gave us a very nice discount! We will definitely stay again in the future. The only issue is that Google maps shows the address as the cabin up the hill. we attempted to drive up the incredibly steep gravel drive and got stuck halfway up and had to back down. Then we realized the actual house was just passed the steep driveway.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at this lovely little cottage!! It had a little bit of everything, and a lot of ways away from the loudness of any cities. We didn't get to use the hot tub unfortunately, but we could've prepared better. the hot tub wouldn't heat above 91, even when making sure it was on the right setting. We discovered this on our second night there, when we went to get in around 6pm. We waited an hour to see if it would heat up at all, but it wasn't budging. We did contact Trisha then, and she contacted maintenance, but we decided to just forego the experience because it would've taken awhile for the water to heat up and we don't stay up late. We do plan on coming back, this was a gem of a place! The only thing I would add is some lamps or some accent lighting in the house for us neurodivergents that dont use "the big light" because it hurts our eyes and is overstimulating. That's a personal preference, which is why I'm giving our experience 5 stars well earned!

This was our second stay here and it did not disappoint. If anything we love this place more and more. Seeing it in the warmer season with everything green and coming to life was beautiful. Plus, our dog even swam in the pond and became quite the water pup. We also saw more wildlife. The trails are exstinsive! We thought we had discovered them all last stay, but we're delighted to find a new one. Marty is easy to communicate with and prompt in responses. He's got quite a special gem here. It was also very clean and had everything you might need. Thanks for sharing... We'll be back again! :)

The house was exactly what we we're looking for, for a little getaway with a few friends. Some other comments mention a lot of deer heads and there sure were a lot of them, but they were nice and didn't cause any trouble during the stay.

Great stay. Exactly as listed. Quiet & restful rental. Owner is responsive, helpful & friendly. Cabin was even decorated for Valentine's Day.

Wonderful experience!! An idyllic setting looking over woods leading to a lake! Todd was great to work with, very flexible and responsive. Would highly recommend.

David’s place was so cute and the surrounding forest beautiful. The deck overlooks sunsets through the forest in the springtime. It was 40 min from old man’s cave location. The house is nicely furnished, but a reminder there is no tv, and the kitchen has minimal utensils and supplies, so keep that in mind if you cook. David was friendly and responsive. To note, his home is visible from the Airbnb property. I would recommend his spot!

Our stay at College Hill Cottage was relaxing and the perfect place to spend a weekend. The location is very easy to find, and both the inside and outside spaces were very welcoming and cozy. Our family felt right at home as we celebrated Easter weekend! Dianne was very friendly and proactive. She communicated with us to make sure we had everything we need. The cottage is very cute and well taken care of. We will definitely consider staying at College Hill Cottage the next time we want to spend a nice family weekend!
