Wonderful place to stay. We met some less than ideal weather for adventuring with our 2 year old and couldn’t have picked a better spot to lay low for a couple nights. The space is beautiful and yet the setting steals the show. The team is working very hard to ensure the experience of staying at Ridge on the Chimney is a once in a lifetime.

The cottage was beautiful , comfortable and well supplied. Hosts were great . The back deck with hot tub, fire pit and grill is great with a view of the lake

Super clean and bright with loads of amenities. Easy to settle in and feel right at home. Private and peaceful, perfect for relaxing and getting away. Super friendly and helpful hosts if you need anything.

We absolutely love staying in this wonderfully cared for and peaceful cabin! Christine and Jeremie are such welcoming and responsive hosts, we never worry about a thing. When we land we're worn out and exhausted but once we leave we feel rested and restored. Many, many thanks to Christine and Jeremie for sharing their small slice of paradise with us. We always look forward to our next visit!

The idea was to chill out and recharge by the lake - and that's what happened. We had a terrific time and the staff were so responsive and helpful. Hot tub was excellent and looking out on a stunning view. Great little touches like a welcome gift for Archie the dog too which always helps!

Such a nice and peaceful location. Brent was always responsive and helpful. House was very well stocked; really enjoyed all the different glasses for our cocktails. Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. Highly recommend. We will be back

I and 4 other friends stayed at Summit Lodge for 2 nights. We were all so impressed with the craftmanship of the cottage, the cleanliness, simple, yet charming decor and the open interior with beautiful windows overlooking the lake and tree line. Immediately after booking, Brent sent helpful messages with clear instructions and guidance for our stay. The hot tub was perfect for five and the changing lights added some fun to its use in the evenings. We immediately started discussing a second trip in the warmer months to hopefully take advantage of that beautiful lake, kayaks and fire pit. I highly recommend these cottages, having previously stayed at another of the properties a year prior, Homesteader Lodge, which was equally beautiful. Thanks!

We had a lovely time at Amanda’s cabin 🥰 The place is beautiful and cozy! Even if you don’t have hot water and WiFi, you can enjoy the view, the place but also the trails at Cape Breton Highlands National Park 😍 The cabin has what you need to cook and enjoy your stay. The decoration is really nice and with the personal touch of Amanda, it’s feel like home. I was there with my mom, sister and boyfriend, and we can only recommend 100% this lovely cabin in the woods 🙌🏼

The cabin is one of four cabins - probably very convenient if traveling with a group. It overlooks a water inlet. The cabin is well kept up but fairly basic in terms of dishes, etc. There is a beach nearby but we didn't visit it due to the mosquitos.

We had a great time at the hilltop cabin, the fire pit and beautiful view down at the beach were lovely. Quite the hill down to the beach but well worth it! The compostable toilet was the nicest I’ve ever seen. I highly recommended this place to anyone visiting CB!

We loved our stay . It is a beautiful comfortable very clean cabin . With all the amenities. We had to bring our own drinking water but was informed in advance We would recommend our friends and family to stay here . Thank you Megan and hopefully we get a chance to stay again

Clean, great view of mountains, for those not from the area,it is in Meat Cove, not Pleasant Bay. Vincent was very friendly. Cabin is very close to the beach.

Had another fabulous snowmobiling weekend at this very private and cozy cottage We are planning what will be our 3rd stay already for in the spring to do some fishing 😊 Great cottage great location and great hosts

Absolutely stunning views from the cabin, the cabin is very clean and has everything you will need and has alot of personal charm :) I am definitely going to come back frequently!

Cozy spot with everything you need for a long weekend stay. Located close to the snowmobile trails which is exactly what we were looking for. Our host was extra helpful sourcing us some tools when one of our sleds needed a fix. 100% would recommend!

My workers thought they had three nights… I booked two actually and Rosita was great about notifying me and we got cleared out as soon as she let me know… just a sweetheart!

We really loved the Cape cottage of Stewart and Belle. The location is very private and offers an awesome 180 degree ocean view. It is near a beautiful beach, great even for extended swims. We found the cottage to be a very special place: the views from the deck, observing the resident bald eagle pair, watching for whales below or for shooting stars sometimes kept us so captivated that we did not want to leave “our hill”. The house is very well equipped, the kitchen spotless + with all necessities, a big stack of fluffy towels (including beach towels), fast WIFI, with a nice selection of books and some music. Stewart dropped in after check-in and offered a wealth of tips for activities in the region. Great! The cottage is “loft style”, bedrooms have walls but are open to the cathedral ceiling. All other services (restaurants, groceries, gas, ice cream…) are between 15 and 25 mins away, so you want to plan for example your grocery shopping alongside your activities. We will be back!

Very lovely place. Light and airy. We enjoyed having the lower level for our bikes. Comfy bed. Walkable to waterfront and restaurants. We’d stay here again!

The experience was fantastic! From the booking process to check-out, everything went smoothly. The host was incredibly friendly, sending me detailed check-in instructions in advance and offering lots of great local tips and restaurant recommendations. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the amenities were all well-provided. The bed was especially cozy, allowing me to rest well every night. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there were even some basic ingredients in the fridge, which was a nice touch! The bathroom was also spotless, with reliable hot water and high-quality toiletries. The location of the accommodation was perfect, very close to the skyline trail. It made our trip even more enjoyable and convenient. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations—it was not only comfortable but also felt like home. I’ll definitely choose this place again the next time I visit this city.

Iris was a very attentive host and checked in frequently to make sure we were comfortable and did not need anything. The cottage was charming, comfortable and perfect for our stay. We were able to get to Celtic Colours each day and come home to a lovely cottage at night.

Amazing! The perfect cottage is right on your own protected beach with grass, firepit, fruit trees and deer right at your door! No neighbours in sight for the ultimate privacy, but the owners live just up the driveway so they are available if needed. They were so helpful and attentive, getting us set up to cook our own lobster, and with local info, etc., but gave us our privacy, too! The private beach, amazing hosts, and perfectly appointed cottage are something no one should miss! Book it for the perfect vacation!!
