If you want a true off the grid experience with amazing food and views, make your way out here. Everything that we could have hoped and wished for. We felt like family when we arrived and they were so kind and wonderful throughout. The tours they offer are amazing. Would absolutely stay again if given the chance.

Words will never do this place justice. Both the lodge itself and the surroundings are stunningly beautiful. The pictures give a slight impression, but the place must be experienced to really understand the beauty of this place. The cabins are placed up on a hill with an amazing view over the jungle and the ocean. Macaws are flying over you all day. Coatis, tapirs, agutis and monkeys cross the grounds and nature trails are plentiful. We did a trek into Corcovado through la Leona gateway which was well worth it. Way less crowded than la Sirena and the scenery is incredible. I also took some yoga classes while I was there. The yoga itself was great and the cherry on the top was 8 macaws settling into a tree right in front of the yoga platform during class. We were also really pampered with delicious food and smoothies. We got there by cab which took something like 1 h 45 m each way. On the way there the driver spotted loads of animals for us. I’m so grateful for the whole experience.

Can’t Really describe how beautiful Finca Exotica is …. You will just have to find out for yourself! All I will say is you definitely won’t regret booking this unique accommodation. We met a number of other guests whilst enjoying a very social and enjoyable meals. Don’t think twice …. Just book it!

Michaele est un homme gentil et bienveillant. Il est venu me chercher en voiture à ma descente de bateau, sur la plage principale de Bahia Drake sans que cela ne soit prévu! Le logement était simple mais charmant, et les nuits passées dedans au rythme du bruit des vagues étaient vraiment magiques. Point de vue sublime quelques mètres au dessus du logement, lieu authentique chalheureux, je recommande!! 🤗🙏

Fantastic little place! There are 3 cabins for guests on his lovely garden property. Basic but yet have everything you need to be comfortable and feel right at home. After our daily jungle hikes every afternoon we would rest in the hammocks on our front porch and watch the endless toucans, parrots etc fly by and play in the trees around us. There is No a/c but the beach breezes and fan at night with sounds of the ocean were comfortable enough for us. It took approx 5 min to walk from the beach up to the cabins via a little trail. If you have any mobility issues it is not for you, it’s a steep uphill walk. Guillermo was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. He helped coordinate our luggage to and from his place as we arrived by foot hiking the Drake trail from Drake bay and departed by boat straight from our day at San Pedrillo. Breakfast was served at whatever time suited you and we enjoyed the homemade meals esp fresh fish and his wife’s bread/cheese. Thank you for having us!

We had a wonderful time there with our family. We enjoyed to use the sea kayaks and the SUPs to get the magic spirit of the quiet Gold Dulce. The apartment is great, we enjoyed to listen to music over the modern TV and to watch our vacation fotos. Our daughter loved to spent the time with the dogs. To use the rain protected pool during heavy rain is also a wonderful experience. Amanda is a great host and supported with best class tips for trips in the area.

Nous étions déjà venu l’année dernière chez François. Notre séjour a ete beau, reposant et magique. Si vous aimez la jungle, la nature et la sensation d’être loin du reste du monde....c'est l'endroit parfait:) Le golfe Dulce est aussi un endroit très spécial....nous avons fait une excursion en bateau avec Osawild pour voir des dauphins....et nous avons eu un moment extraordinaire...Un petit paradis de jungle ou beaucoup d’espèce d’oiseaux et certain singes viennent naturellement sur la propriété.

Christian and his wife provided a very comfortable and enjoyable experience during our stay with them in Drakes Bay. From the Boat pick up to the food and room accommodations, all were beyond our expectations. We would definitely stay at Cabina Yaseth again. Pura Vida!

Wir sind kurzentschlossen auf der Suche nach dem authentischen CR unserem Gefühl gefolgt. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Die Anfahrt war spektakulär aber mit dem Allrad Jeep machbar, incl der Flussdurchfahrungen. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und während unseres gesamten Aufenthaltes aufmerksam und unaufdringlich behandelt . Die Lage ist ein Traum und wir fanden die Tage dort waren unsere schönsten in CR.

Excelente lugar para descansar o realizar teletrabajo, muy privado, muy seguro... Se puede andar en bicicleta, en kayak o simplemente disfrutar de la brisa del mar.

We had some trouble locating/accessing Samuel’s place due to the fact that we drove and instructions were unclear. And even though we knew there were rivers to cross, it had rained that day and it was WAY scarier than we expected! Beyond that, Samuels place was great. We loved the accessibility to the beach which was AMAZING and almost always empty!It was unbelievably gorgeous and catching the boats to our tours from the beach was awesome! The restaurant on site is the only option for food due to the remote location. The food was very good and reasonably priced ($12 per meal). You just pay at the end before checking out, very convenient. Samuel was quick to respond to anything we needed and help us solve a couple issues!

Der Garten mit den Aras, Tucane, Affen , Kolibris und vielen weiteren Tieren ist sensationell! Die große Außenküche ein absoluter Traum ! Luis und seine Frau die mit auf dem Grundstück wohnen sind wahnsinnig freundlich und haben uns mit einigen Köstlichkeiten verwöhnt! Der Golfo Dulce ist direkt vor dem Haus und ein absoluter Traum zum schwimmen! Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für alles! Wir kommen wieder!

Este lugar fue maravilloso! Esta frente a la playita Juanito Mora, que más que playa es una piscina, los amaneceres ahi son preciosos, y aunque el sol no se esconde en el mar, los atardeceres son hermosos. El lugar tienen muchos senderitos para caminar, y la zona verde es espectacular. Tomen en cuenta que la cocina es compartida entre 2 cabañas, pero esta super equipada Pero la joya de la corona de esta propiedad, es la familia que la cuida, que personas más genuinas, amistosas, cuidadosas y atentas! Nos ayudaron en todo momento, su trato fue super cordial, Stephen tiene 2 tesoros en el sur, esta propiedad y esos cuidanderos, incluso nos llevaron de pesca con ellos, nos ayudaron con recomendaciones, y fueron increiblemente amables en todo momento. Abrir la ventana y ver un grupo de monos tití pasando por las copas de los árboles o ver las lapas volando, o a los auyadores entre los arboles, y los cientos de cantos de pajaritos es uno de los privilegios que se puede disfrutar aquí.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt dank samuels großartiger Organisation. Wir hatten nur eine Nacht gebucht und die Organisation mit dem Nationalpark und der Tour waren sehr gut. Samuel hat schnell geantwortet und war sehr hilfsbereit. Wir würden die Unterkunft jedem weiterempfehlen!

Our group of 4 originally booked another AirBnb for our stay in Drake Bay that was completely inaccessible even with a 4x4. The original host wanted us to leave our car in a public parking area and hike straight up a hill for a mile with our luggage in the rain... We were scrambling to find another place to stay, and Maikol confirmed our booking quickly and the team cleaned and prepared the apartment in under an hour. They offered us drinks and we were able to hang out in the restaurant while we waited. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and they allowed us to park under a covered area behind the restaurant. The location is perfect right in the middle of town close to everything. The ONLY downside is that the location is close to a bar that partied late on the weekend. I can see it bothering some light sleepers, but it wasn’t much of a problem for us. We would definitely stay here again!
