The Hickory House

Quaint vintage, eclectic bungalow on brick street with private parking. Wifi, comfortable common spaces, a stocked kitchen, quality beds & linens. Home is situated only blocks from Ottawa University and downtown. University parents can easily walk to campus, downtown restaurants and shopping, and City Park. This was once my grandmothers home. The vintage décor leans towards " eclectic". The house has refinished floors, all new paint, plumbing, electrical and HVAC. No pets allowed.

Peacock Place. This is a mid mod Paradise. Find woods with gold, yellow and blue accents adorn this beautiful little apartment. Everything is new and comfortable. One block to downtown Ottawa, lots of antique shopping and dinning. Worlds oldest still running movie theater is one block way. Enjoy a beer and bbq in the same block at Not Lost Brewery. In the morning the best little coffee shop in the state is also just one block to the north, Mug Shot Coffee. Look for it in the alley.

1st floor- Master bedroom, bath, kitchen, dining rooms, large living room, and screened front porch. 2nd floor - 4 bedrooms, bath, and study/library. Built 1903 for BU Delta Tau Delta fraternity. In 1912 - Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. My parents, Ray and Edna Jones, purchased the house in 1963. It is like a living museum of their life. Extensive library. Experience this lovely Victorian home. Inviting kitchen where many family gatherings have been nurtured.

Pomona Lake Front Cabin

Adorable 2 bedroom one bathroom cabin with a fireplace, large deck with hot tub, pretty view, good water frontage, nice flat yard and private dock to park your boat with a ladder for swimming. The cabin backs to pretty woods which provide peace and quiet, privacy as well as abundant wildlife. The lake is just 100 yards down a nice trail through the woods. A 3 person kayak is available for your use, as well as a fire ring and lawn chairs.
