As soon as we saw the views we knew we had to book and we were not disappointed! The views and accommodation are as per photos and we felt right at home! We had everything we needed in the property and in Johnshaven itself! We had a lovely meal at The Anchor Hotel, which we’d recommend, as well as a delicious ice cream at the hidden tea room! We hope to return in the near future!

This is probably the best airbnb we have stayed in. It has everything you could want and more. Very clean, well supplied and well presented. Very easily walkable from the centre of Avirmore and easy access to the Cairngorms and surrounding areas. Great storage for outdoor equipment and dog friendly, including towels and bowls. Will definitely return. Thanks Heather.

Rebecca’s cottage was perfect for our stay. As described: comfortable, clean and everything that we needed. It was important for us to find somewhere that was all on one level/flat and this cottage was great with rooms all off of one corridor. Rebecca is a superb host and always replied quickly with clear instructions and information. Highly recommended. I wish had been able to stay longer!

We had an amazing time in St Andrews and Janice’s place was perfect for 6 adults on a golf trip. It was spacious, clean and the best location. I would highly recommend it

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit im Cliff Cottage. Das Haus war sehr gemütlich, sauber und hatte alles was man braucht und sogar noch mehr. Die Gegend vor allem der Strand ist ein Traum. Alison hat immer schnell und freundlich geantwortet. Wir alle waren sehr glücklich dort!

We had an enjoyable weekend break in the Lookout at Pitmilly. Excellent standard of accommodation and facilities and a wonderful setting, convenient for exploring the Fife coast. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely location. The cottage was well kept and very homely. It was ideal for our family with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. Great walks for the dogs, both at the cottage and nearby (some recommended by the owner). As well as close to a number of child friendly locations and activities for our 7 year old. A large Tesco was nearby as well as some great restaurants. We found it very relaxing and enjoyed watching the garden birds, red squirrel, and local deer. The owner was very helpful, with quick responses, and all relevant information provided in advance. The only point we have to note was the limited water pressure for the shower. The owner did make us aware of this in advance of the visit. Although low pressure, it was also still sufficient, clean, and worked so we could have a shower. Thanks again to Ashley for all her support throughout and her beautiful holiday home.

What a wonderful stay we had in Erigmore cottage! It is such a delightful place, in gorgeous surroundings. The cottage itself is stunning, we LOVED the enclosed back area with the hot tub - perfect for keeping an eye on our puppy. I loved the kitchen and cannot wait to book again. :) The walk to Dunkeld by the river is so picturesque. <3

I booked this property at short notice and the reason was because I saw that it had a good location and also a pool for my children to play in the water and that since I had a short time, I saw this as a good space, but the only thing is that the pool cannot be used in cold weather.... But in terms of being large, clean and tidy and having amenities, it is a very suitable place, just because I wanted to go to Edinburgh, which was an hour away. Most importantly, the owner was very kind and polite. He also lived in the property next door and was a very nice person. When we returned, our cat was lost in the garden and he helped us find it with great kindness and patience. I am extremely grateful to him, I recommend that you travel there for rest and accommodation.

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely peaceful area. The house is so lovely tastefully decorated with everything you could need. The area is lovely with miles of beach and coastline to explore. Shonagh is a great host and responded quickly and was very helpful returning a sweater that we accidentally left. I would highly recommend this gem of a place.

This house was even better than we expected from the photos. The location was good, on the outskirts of town, but walkable into the centre, with shops and restaurants. We all enjoyed our stay in Aviemore and would love to go back. We can recommend Carol's house for visiting the area.

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful family home,. The peace and quiet was amazing as was the nature we were surrounded in. Your neighbours were so friendly too. Also thank you for also allowing us to stay for so long. It was perfect for our adventures. Can’t recommend enough.

Nick is a friendly and courteous host. His Airbnb is a nice quiet enclave tucked away in Banff for passers by. The accommodation is very clean and safely located, behind a locked gate off the Main Street. Would happily come back here again if I were to be in Banff.

We hebben drie heerlijke dagen gehad in St. Monans. Vanuit Jackies huisje loop je zo naar de haven en van daaruit ben je ook snel op de kustpaden. Dan’s place was one of my favorite things about visiting Scotland for the first time! The whole atmosphere was magical. The fire was so easy to start and keep going thanks to Dan’s nifty supplies and exact instructions. It was warm enough without it, but the ambiance of the fire is perfect. The bed was comfortable and so were the couch and desk. I spent a lot of time writing so I sat at the desk overlooking the pond and it was such an inspiring place to write. There are wonderful little villages nearby and quiet, stunning beaches. I used Dan’s place as a home base to go explore local castles, churches and scenery in Aberdeenshire and beyond. It was my favorite place I stayed for the whole two weeks! My only regret was not being able to stay longer. I definitely plan to go again.

Wildcat Lodge is a lovely wee place, nestled away from passers by in its own special valley full of lichen covered trees and stunning views. But close enough to the A9 to make it a great spot to discover the many hiking trails, ancient woodlands and hills of the Cairngorms. We would definitely recommend a stay.
