Drumena Cottage, built in traditional Irish style, is a truly peaceful and comfortable getaway, with stunning views of the beautiful mountains of Mourne. Situated only minutes away from Castlewellan and Tollymore Forest Parks, it is surrounded by fields and its own expansive garden, with its own private off-the-road parking. Drumena Cottage is now fondly known as home of 'Dear Imelda', a wonderful, heartwarming short movie, set in the beautiful Kingdom of Mourne, now streaming on Disney+.

Certified by Tourism NI, all our rooms (except the bathroom!) have spectacular sea views. Restaurants only a short drive away with mountains, golf courses, nature reserves and much more within easy reach.

Catering for six people the house has an open plan kitchen, living and dining room, games room, downstairs toilet and utility/boot-room. Upstairs there is the main bathroom, master bedroom with en-suite, double bedroom with king size bed and a twin bedroom.

Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.
