The best place in north Bali !

We had a brilliant stay at House of Hobbit, and would definitely recommend staying here to explore North Bali. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and it was easy to organise transport, snorkel trips, and anything else we needed. We were also given a great recommendation for a nearby beach club, and got the opportunity to go along to a religious ceremony, which was a brilliant experience. It is worth hiring a scooter (which you can do at the hotel for a very reasonable price) to explore the local area as the main beach and restaurants are a 15/20 minute ride away. Quick tip: When we got a lift back to southern Bali we were also given the option to stop off at interesting sites along the way for no extra cost (other than entrance fees) so had we not already been on a tour from Ubud we definitely would have done this - it would have been much more economical, time efficient and personalised. Really loved the stay! Really nice Frodo room with the hobbit vibes. The guys were friendly and very helpful! Also the people in the neighborhood were very helpful! Love to come back!

Great Hospitality, Architecture is beautiful, Breakfast and lunch options were top notch! If you are looking for a nice and cozy location close to Menjangan Island this is the place. Hosts also organised Snorkeling at Menjangan Island very easily and this was an amazing experience and which I strongly recommend.

Achmad was such a kind friendly host extremely welcoming.He had great suggestions and was always down to take you out and show you his area.Licin is such a beautiful place very relaxing and Achmad’s place was peaceful and quiet I highly recommend him and his place.

Wow, what an unforgettable experience we had at Yansen's property nestled within the enchanting Christian Balinese Village! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The cozy and immaculately clean accommodations instantly made us feel at home. Even though our stay was brief, every moment was filled with relaxation and enjoyment. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our next visit. Thank you, Yansen, for providing such a delightful retreat – we can't wait to return!

Coup de coeur pour ces quelques jours passés en compagnie de Supri, Dora et Gio... installé dans un village dans les rizières, on partage un moment de vie avec leur communauté. Ils aiment parler de leur vie et font de ses quelques jours de très belles rencontres. Entre vie locale, les personnalités du village et le découverte des environs... On aurait envie de partager encore plus avec eux et d'y rester plus longtemps que 2 nuits! L'orga est super pratique, ils s'occupent de tout, et nous emmène au kawah ijen, dans les champs de riz...

Lieu très calme et agréable mais il faut un scooter pour aller à la plage de pemuteran qui est à environ 9 km. La cuisine familiale est très bonne. Le lit est très grand et très confortable. Les sorties de snorkelling avec Wayan sont superbes. Wayan est très enjoué et très sympa ! Tout comme sa famille !

Die Lage der Unterkunft war ruhig, aber nach zwei Minuten Fußweg war man an der Hauptstraße und hatte viele Restaurants zur Auswahl. Zudem war der Strand 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und auch der Nationalpark gut erreichbar. Direkt bei Kadek gibt es die Möglichkeit einen Schnorcheltrip zu buchen und auch Trips zum Nationalpark können in unmittelbarer Umgebung plus Transport mit Abholung an der Unterkunft gebucht werden. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und man hatte eine gute Auswahl. Große Empfehlung.

What a beautiful place! Stunning surrounding with rice terraces right when you walk out of it, beautiful bamboo homes with a lot of atmosphere. Very kind staff and great food! Everything was delicious. An amazing experience and VERY recommended.

Lidiya und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber! Wir haben uns rund um wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder 😊 Das Frühstück ist hervorragend und die Ijen-Tour ist zwar sehr anstrengend aber ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen!

We loved staying here! The owners and staff were so kind, they helped us organize an Ijen tour and drove us to nearby sights. They served a beautiful breakfast each morning which is included- definitely worth the price. Their communication was great and we felt very at home. The cat Bono is so sweet, (& neighbouring cats) a great bonus.

Great communication by email, warm welcome at easy check-in (I arrived earlier than planned; no problem at all) accompanied by coffee and fresh dragon fruit, good conversation in excellent English, comfortable bed and strong fan. Organized a tour guide for Ijen at a very reasonable price, presented me with a hearty and tasty local breakfast upon my return. A short walk to a few local restaurants and the bus station. All in all, perfect for me.
