Nestled in the middle of the Bayfield County Forest, this rustic, minimally maintained yurt has direct access to miles of non-motorized rec trails (CAMBA single track and Mt Ashwabay nordic ski and hiking trails). Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Superior including; Pike's Bay, four of the Apostle Islands (Madeline, Basswood, Stockton and Michigan) and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Come prepared to relax, unwind and explore the wonders of the north woods. Yurt access is 3/4 mile uphill.

Borealis Cottage sits on a 2-acre, private, wooded lot in the sustainably designed Sawgrass Community of Cornucopia. Light-filled cottage with open floor plan includes a sleeping loft, screened porch, gas fireplace, and fully-equipped kitchen. A quick, quiet walk from the cottage takes you to a private wooded path with access to Cornucopia Beach on Siskiwit Bay. Explore the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore--our cottage is located 4 miles from Meyers Beach and 20 miles from Bayfield.

Romantic Forest Cabin, Sauna, Trail to Beach

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

It's on 40 private, tranquil acres (no neighbors!) with great access to all the Hayward-Cable area has to offer. At 700sq ft, it's intended for two adults, with the option of 2 addtl kids. We couldn’t be more heart warmed, to welcome you to our little piece of Heaven in the World! 21 acres with over 600 feet of private sandy shores on the most spectacular bay of Lake Superior. There’s a Lake House with currently 2 bedrooms to share(Note: 2nd bedroom is in an open loft). Short path and then 12 steps to the beach! There’s an adorable boat house too, that’s where we stay when we are up at the Lake. Beautiful silence, darkness, adventure, and serenity awaits.
