The Mail House was a perfect couples getaway spot for us. Stephanie and Ben provided clear instructions for getting there and check-in, as well as a wonderful list of places to visit in the area. This was our first visit to the area, and it was a very central location to what we wanted to do. The Mail House is so quaint and had everything we needed. We highly recommend staying at The Mail House!

I can’t express enough what a wonderful host Rebecca was. She went out of her way to make our stay comfortable. Her kindness was very appreciated by my family. The home was beautiful and had all the amenities you could want. It was a quiet area and easy to get to. I highly recommend this home or any home Rebecca has.

We had a very nice experience staying at this property. Our host, Leah, was very conscientious and responsive, and the property was clean and comfortable. We stayed with our aging dog, and the handicap ramp leading up to the front door made it easy for us to get her in and out of the house. We would stay here again if we return for any future events in this area.

I loved staying at their place. Next time I know to go shopping BEFORE getting there. It’s literally so out there it’s amazing. My kids Had such a blast on the swings , the trampoline and all the other amenities. It was so relaxing for them to get a break from tech and just enjoy the outdoors. There was a lot of dog hair which stired up some of our kiddos breathing issues but other than that. It was AMAZING STAY. We can’t wait to come back❤️🥰

What a wonderful place to stay! The host's really had thought of everything! We thoroughly enjoyed the covered outdoor area with the hot tub, which also included a ceiling fan and pretty lights. There were inspiring books and framed quotes to read, a front porch swing which was a must-have for us, rockers in the living room, and a great fire pit area, with chopped wood ready to go! We love board games, and there was a nice assortment there to play. One of us even needed a band aid, and we were able to find a first aid kit! Everything was neat, clean, and orderly. If we are ever in the area again, I'll be looking for this home! It made our all-time favorites list! Also, the host was super friendly and went above and beyond making sure everything went smooth for us!

Everything was great. If you have an issue with your key fob, I beleive it is just the power lines. Try standing 2-5 feet from your vehicle to lock and unlock. Not a deal breaker and if you park in the garage you should be fine.

The house was very clean, cutely decorated and perfect size for our family. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone.

This place was great: the price, fun style and decor, super easy check-out, and a communicative host. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 and plenty of room to run around outside too. It is very close to Koomer Ridge campground which was helpful for us and our planned hikes. Nice porches too. The listing mentions being close to the highway and had several sound machines available in rooms--but it was quiet for us. We didn't notice traffic sounds at all during our stay. They also suggested a BBQ place we never tried, Redpoint. It was awesome takeout. Cute place and great host.

Such a cute place to stay with a great kitchen! I would definitely recommend this space for your next vacation.

The Lady Slipper apartment was the perfect base for all of my hiking adventures in the Red River Gorge...located right in the middle of it all. Had everything I needed for a comfortable stay for myself and my dog.

I was surprised by how large the space was. The space was set up great and was clean and comfortable. Kristin was great to communicate with.

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

It was as described, Had an issue on Sunday. Jessie & Scott were quick to respond, it was nothing they did or could have prevented. But moved swiftly to rectify . I’d stay there again. And recommend to others. 5 star service and much quicker than the Holiday Inn.

Surprised my wife with a weekend away from the kiddos. Place was amazing. Only 5 minutes from Hamburg/I75 and just about 10 from downtown Lexington but still out on the country. Very peaceful and the Millers were so accommodating. The place was exactly what was shown and even more. Amazing views of their farm added to the cozy feel. I loved the woodworking and old school feel of some of the kitchen. We could park and walk straight in the apartment with no problems. We could stay here a week and not be bored. Would and will stay here again one day.

The perfect private getaway. About 30 minutes away to lots of hiking trails in red river and a quick drive to the store. Suzanne was super helpful and responsive. Gave us many things to do/see!

Place was exactly as described. Would stay again. Host was super responsive to any questions. Not far from the lake. Shower and bath house were perfectly clean and hot water. One of the best bath houses we used. Perfect little weekend stay for a couple or fishing buddies. We were at the lake within 3 minutes. Will stay again. Had enough room for our 18 foot boat and hook up to charge.

Great little stay put in morehead kentucky with lots of nice local hiking trails and parks to visit. The Cabin was a perfect cozy get away for the week with everything completely accommodated for. Will definitely be looking to stay again if we get the chance.

Nice cabin clean great parking for multiple vehicles if there is one thing to improve on would be the WiFi it was out most of the time but other than that a great place to stay in would stay again if in the area

Stayed in Cabin 3 for a week in October 24. The cabins and property are extremely clean and in excellent condition. Lawn is maintained nicely. There is a fire ring with chairs waiting for you! Paved road and designated parking space / area. Cabin looks exactly like it does in all of the pictures. There are no stairs / steps to Cabin 3 which makes it really nice if you have mobility issues. Squirrells and birds abound in the peaceful quiet area. It is at the beginning of a dead end street so there isn't much traffic or noise. There isn't a dresser or closet here nor any storage / counter space in the bathroom - so just be aware of that. Futon was comfortable to sleep on and so was the bed. Elliotts Pizza (turn right onto 801 and then right on 60 at the roundabout and it's on your left} is close, priced right and delicious! Kitchen was well equipped with the basics. Cabin is competitively priced for the area. Owners are helpful and easy to communicate with.

Kitty & Meredith made accommodations for my kiddos and I last minute when our hotel reservations fell through. Our stay was fantastic and the outdoor playground and patio were awesome for the kiddos!

We absolutely loved our stay. 15 minutes to campus and very close to the lake. The cabin had everything we needed and more! We WILL be back!

Quick trip to visit our daughter at Morehead State. This was perfect location and space to allow her to be able to hang out with us outside her dorm room. Will definitely book again!
