Our first visit to Bath was wonderfully enhanced by an over night stay with Petra & Dick; they were most welcoming, flexible with our wishes to check-in and made us feel right at home from the start to finish. The short bus ride from their house into Bath was very scenic as a bonus! Would wholeheartedly recommend a stay at this very nice place with an incredible garden of many levels providing sanctuary and scenic views - we were fortunate to enjoy some beautiful weather with the lovely breakfast they served outside too! We didn't feel like guests, we felt like we had known them all along :0)

saubere Unterkunft und ein freundlicher Empfang auch der Hofhund kam uns schwanzwedelnd entgegen. Ein schmackhaftes englisches Frühstück krönte das Ganze. Als Unterkunft zur Erkundung der Gegend durchaus zu empfehlen. Im örtlichen inn sollte reserviert werden

Smallish bedroom in a very cute old cottage. Good for a short stay of couple of days or so. Modernized kitchen and spacious bathroom with power shower. Olivia was very helpful, friendly, and flexible with checking/out, and offered suggestions on local activities. The dog Ted was friendly and very hyper, but stayed out of the bedroom. Excellent breakfast with range of cereals, toast and homemade jam, tea, coffee for a good start to the day. Very central location in Frome. (Listing says both shared and private bathroom in different paces, but it really is private). Good value, and highly recommended.

Third stay at 8 Owls and it reslly is a perfect place to stay centrally located. Very useful shared spaces like the kitchen and veranda. We had a couple questions and hosts were so responsive and extremey helpful to us. Vrry cute extra touches around the place. Very beautiful accomodation. 😍 would stay again in a heart beat 💓

Mike and Celia are two friendly interesting people. They welcomed me into their home and everything is available to use. I highly recommend a stay here.

the venue is exactly as described and comfortably fitted 4 grand parents, 6 parents and 7 children under 11. oh and a dog georginia could not have been more helpful a really comfortable house that is extremely well equipped and feels like home no problem in heartily recommending a first class holiday home

What a lovely couple everything we read in their previous reviews was true..spent a very relaxed and pleasant weekend and it was so nice to chat at breakfast. Would definitely recommend and book again if in the area. Loved Otto the most placid and friendly doggy we have ever met. Only one thing - we could have done with having a fan in the bedroom as it was warm. TBH we could have asked for one but we didn’t bother, but in the high summer would be good to have one in the room which to be fair they probably do provide one.

La chambre était parfaite pour notre séjour, nous avons été très bien accueillis par Mark et Kate, qui sont très gentils et arrangeants. Le logement est propre et bien équipé, et nous avons même eu le petit-déjeuner chaque matin! Nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir chez Mark et Kate si nous repassons à Bristol.

I stayed a whole week in Judith's beautiful home and felt so comfortable. Judith is a very friendly and welcoming host, and I felt completely relaxed (which I haven't always when staying in a host's house with them). I was busy every day and Judith's place was a calm retreat in the evening. The double bedroom was immaculately clean and very comfortable, and all the amenities were spotless. The house is in a quiet estate on the edge of town rather than central Glastonbury so there's a 10-15 minute walk in and out - for me this was ideal as it meant I could step out of the intensity and busyness of town, but I was grateful for my car a couple of times, as I had to dash back and forth quite a bit, carrying lots of things with me! Importantly, Judith's place is only a short walk to some of the most beautiful parts of the area - the Chalice Well Gardens, White Spring and the Tor. Had some great chats with Judith and loved gorgeous Milo the dog. Highly recommend for a quiet break!

A characterful lady who offered an instant and warm welcome to her charming and characterful house which is brimming with fascinating paintings and photographs collected during her career, a significant part of which was spent in India. A most considerate, eloquent and generous hostess, Rosie is also an accomplished cook who is very happy to provide a delicious evening meal if required. She is knowledgeable about many things, not least the village in which she has chosen to live and her guided tour of Semley is to be recommended. The church and exceptional village shop are well worth a visit. A day or two spent in this very comfortable accommodation provides a much needed reward from the daily round and guests will not be disappointed. Au contraire, the house and village are unexpected gems.

Helen was very welcoming and friendly. House was clean and free from clutter. She cleared a shelf in the fridge for me. I was on a swimming training course nearby, so didn’t need to use the bath or shower, so can’t comment on that.

Geraldine and John were amazing hosts. I only stayed one night but if I could I’d stay another week. Their suite is the coziest place I have ever been. Loved the back story of their home and they have made it into the most charming place to stay. As someone who leads a very busy home life, it was great to just check out of life for the day and enjoy the quiet and idyllic setting. Not to mention the bed was so very comfortable and I had the best nights sleep I’ve had in a very long time. I cannot wait to come back some time and explore the area more or just take lots of naps and relax. Thank you so much John and Geraldine!

Stay at Andy and Lynda's is always great, they are very friendly and I love their cat. Lynda very kindly accommodates my early breakfast requests.

An incredible opportunity to get a taste of what it means to live in the Cotswolds. Immersed in nature, Zandra's home is a gorgeous quiet haven, with every detail lovingly looked after. Zandra is a wonderful and attentive host, her house is stunning and the breakfast is a treat, as well as an opportunity to chat with fellow guests. Couldn't recommend more highly, hope to be back soon!

Lyn and John were fantastic hosts - being generous with lively conversation but also providing options for privacy as desired. I paid a reduced rate due to some regulars being out of town, but they are already providing an excellent value classic bed and breakfast service with homestay personal touches. Lyn offers a full cooked breakfast and cereals to all guests, but was happy to make adjustments to tastes and needs. John also makes a tasty coffee from the espresso machine. I would be glad to return if I am able to find a moment when they are not fully booked!

We loved staying at Sally’s place. It was so peaceful that as soon as I arrived I had a beautiful nap! Such gorgeous surrounding and our room was beautiful. Sally was so friendly and helpful :-) Definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet place to rest your head. Wedmore is a such a quaint village which lovely little shops and so easy to get everywhere. It’s a great place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding areas of Glastonbury and Wells.

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

I thoroughly enjoyed the last few days spent with John and Kathy. They are a very warm welcoming, very sociable and friendly couple and made me feel right at home the moment I arrived. The facilities were immaculate, extremely comfortable and had everything you needed and more. I've stayed at many Airbnb's recently and I've never had such a good breakfast as I did at John's - very healthy and filling and so much appreciated. Returning at the end of a day was like coming home, especially the fish pie supper on my last evening there. I had a wonderful time. John and Kathy are super hosts, thoughtful and kind. I would have no hesitation in either recommending them or staying there again.

Een liefdevolle en met aandacht ingericht huis. Fijne tuin inclusief kruidentuin voor de liefhebber zoals wij. Wij wilden meer opruimen, mocht niet. Ze zeiden “jullie hebben ook vakantie!” Toch opgeruimd uiteraard, omdat dit zo hoort.

We decided to take a very last min trip away, as we have recently moved and are expecting baby number 2 in a week or so, so needed a breather. Martin was on hand for check-in. He was lovely and showed us our room, checked if we needed anything else, and told us a few places to eat. The room was lovely, well kept, spotless and perfect for our short stay. Coffee, tea and biccies were in hand, which are always welcome. The shower was brilliant, great pressure and lovely and hot. Breakfast too was lovely, piping hot and fresh. Nothing was too much trouble for Martin and he was chatty, friendly and welcoming. We would very much reccomed a stay here and thank our lovely host for accommodating us.

A great place to stay and very convenient for visiting bath. A lovely bedroom, very tastefully furnished with good facilities. The host is very helpful and thoughtful with everything provided you might need. A delightful stay.

Dee is an exceptional hostess- I felt completely at home and at ease in her lovely home. Dee is very knowledgeable about the area and went above and beyond to assist me. The breakfast was astonishing with fresh orange juice, fruit, bread and granola, Dees own homemade jam and lots of tea There aren’t words to communicate the warmth and nurturing Dee provides - highly recommend you go and meet her and the adorable Tilly (best mannered softest golden lab ever) ❤️
