The Shepherd’s Hut, Bath

In the summer of 2019 we installed a brand new shepherd’s hut in our large garden. The hut, built by a local company, is sat in an open space away from our own house, and has a great view down the garden. It is fully equipped with: Double bed TV Underfloor heating Bose bluetooth speaker Free WiFi Toilet and shower room with shampoo and shower gel Microwave Single hob Toaster & kettle Iron and ironing board Coffee & tea Breakfast cereals, our own free range eggs, bread, butter, jams and juices

A private, cosy pod nestled right on the edge of the cotswold way, perfectly situated for taking long walks and having dinner at an abundance of welcoming country pubs, before returning to relax in the hot tub to star gaze with a bottle of bubbly. The pod is an idyllic bolthole to escape the rat race, cosy up and read a book with a fresh coffee, cook sausages and toast Marshmallows on the fire in our undercover seating area or go and explore historic neighbouring villages and the city of Bath.

Enjoy the countryside with Bath and all it's splendour just a few minutes away. This beautiful self-contained annexe has a lounge, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, all with amazing views of the countryside. Although attached to our home the annexe has a separate front door and patio area. Only 15 mins from Bath by car and close to the historic towns of Corsham and Lacock. Both Stonehenge (1 hour away) and Longleat Stately Home & Safari Park (40 minutes) are not too far away for a visit either.

The lodge is tucked away at the end of a long garden, away from the main house, fully contained, where guests have private use of the lodge and upper garden. The cottage are only a few minutes’ drive from places of interest like Bath, Bristol, Wells, Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills. Even the famous Cotswolds are only a 30 minute drive away. With many walks to choose from directly from the cottage it is also the perfect spot for nature lovers who would like to leave the car. The cottages are a within walking distance from Keynsham trainstation (free parking close by) and the town centre with lots of pubs, restaurants, shops and supermarkets.

Two Bed Garden Apartment sleeps 4 max

Gilda's Garden - Apartment 1 in Number 4 Norfolk Buildings, is actually a maisonette, occupying two floors of this listed Regency Terraced building. This is a spacious apartment with an elegant Lounge and dining area with open plan kitchen, there is a toilet and wash basin on the half landing , and on the garden level, there are two ensuite bedrooms. The downstairs marble floored hallway leads to the long garden, which is a pleasant space on a sunny day, with plenty of outdoor seating.

Included in your stay are Kayaks, Paddle Boards & Bikes so you can kayak to the pub or cycle in to Bath and create some great memories and fun photo opportunities. At the end of the day you can relax in the outdoor bath with the fire crackling overlooking the water (Large glass of wine in hand optional) The hut is fully equipped with everything you will need for a perfect stay.

It is three minutes from Bath Park and Ride allowing easy access to the World Heritage City of Bath. It has extensive gardens and fantastic views overlooking the Somerset countryside yet is only 3 miles from the centre of Bath. There are four bedrooms which will comfortably sleep eight people.
