Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. This gem of a cabin is nestled in a beautiful part of Virginia, surrounded by the majestic George Washington National Forest. Woody’s is only 30 minutes from Madison Heights and 37 minutes from downtown Lynchburg.

You get privacy without isolation, outdoors without "roughing" it, and all within an easy drive of Smith Mountain Lake.

Look out at the Peaks of Otter, enjoy incredible sunrises and sunsets. You are welcome to grill out on the Blackstone, enjoy the firepit, and relax on the dock. There is two miles of trails on the 37 acre property with their own trail signs and map.
