Great in the trees home. It was a great last minute find that made our mountain trip lovely. Very good location for hiking and boating along Lake Glenville.

Had a wonderful time this weekend and plan to come back. Couldn’t have asked for a better location and a wonderful caretaker of the property. We were treated like family immediately. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay all around. Phil and Ryan - thank you again!

Our extended family of 13 had a peaceful, relaxing, and wonderful stay! The pictures don't do the house/cabin and surrounding property justice. The rope swing, swing, and tire swing were a huge hit with the kids - they were addicted to the rope swing! (Even the teens managed to break away from their tech and play on the creek!) The towels to use for the creek were a nice touch. This location made it really easy to get to Asheville, Black Mountain, and Brevard. It was unanimous that all of us would love to return! It was a much needed retreat and respite for all of us!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful mountain house in Rutherfordton! The views were stunning, the rooms were cozy and well-designed, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day. The hosts were incredibly responsive and kind, making everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We had a great overall experience, we always love the waynesville area. The home was clean, organized, and exactly as described. Host was very thorough with instructions and very easy to Interact with. 10/10 would stay again!

Very clean and quiet home. Our stay was great we had beautiful views. Sadly we didnt spend alot of time in the home as we were visiting family. Great vacation home if you just want to relax and get away.

The house was perfect, just as described in the listing! Derek reached out several times to see if we needed anything or had any questions. There was more than enough room for all five of us. There was a Keurig which was a wonderful surprise! We had an awesome week and would definitely stay at Derek's again!

Don and Renie are top notch hosts! They have thought of everything to make your stay perfect-snacks, drinks, comfortable mattresses, ample towels, games, and even a frozen pizza in the fridge! Their mountaintop rental has a beautiful view of WCU campus with comfortable outdoor spaces for soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Don has excellent local recommendations and is a great source of information regarding Western Carolina University. We felt so incredibly welcome! We’ll be back!

Our stay at "Tranquility in the Mountains", was very tranquil. It was quite dark when we arrived Saturday morning. The driveway and entry were well lit. We entered the code on the keyless entry and were in with no problem! The unit was very tastefully decorated, fresh, and clean with a well stocked kitchen, bathroom and super comfy bed! All of the amenities of home. Kelly and family live above the unit, so we would hear movement at times, but this was never intrusive or a bother at all! I highly recommend booking with Kelly, and would like to visit the Asheville area again. I wish we had more time to chill in the mountains and explore this interesting city. Thanks for your hospitality Kelly. The welcome basket was a nice touch!

My husband & I stayed at Emilie’s place and found it to be comfortable, clean, and convenient for exploring Asheville. Communication with Emilie was great. From start to finish, our stay was wonderful! I definitely recommend.

Exquisite furnishings, comfort and quality of linens and bedding. A wall of windows looking out to gorgeous forest and sunset views. Walking distance to Grovepark Inn providing exercise, shopping and dining accommodations within steps of the woodland basement apartment.The fireplace in winter and outdoor patio in summer are lovely. Bear sightings are assured! Owners are nearby if needed but non intrusive. Quiet location. Best Airbnb in all our travels and definitely best place in Asheville. Appreciated the full-sized refrigerator, dishwaher, microwave and toaster oven for light cooking.

Melodie's place is a slice of heaven if you're looking for a peaceful hobby farm retreat. Around every corner were new discoveries whether the beauty of the landscape or the animals in their various living spaces around the property (horses, cows, chickens, couple friendly cats, and sweet welcoming dog Shelby). If you have time for a walk to the woods you'll be treated to a bubbling brook w a bench beside it for some contemplative time, not to mention flowers to gaze at all along way. We hadn't really been aware of the sauna (maybe it's in the listing and we missed it) but it's an incredible treat if you can find time one evening to check it out. There's even more than the exterior beauty and sauna treat, but I'll let you discover some surprises on your own. Ideally, you'll spend several days so you can take it all in. Melodie's family incl husband + kids were so nice + made us feel at home. Our stay was A+++ and we hope to return. Worth driving a little farther for this GEM.

I have lived in a lot of places over the past year while traveling for school, and this was the best of the bunch. Everything was great, including a clean comfortable space, available toiletries, efficient appliances, simple check in and out, amazing 10/10 mountain view.

This is our second time staying at Lia’s Villa’s. It is a beautiful retreat and very private. It is only 9 minutes from TIEC if you’re coming for horse related activities!

Highly recommend this place! We rented it for a bridal/bachelorette party weekend for five women, and it was marvelous! Early instructions about check in were informative. We lived in the hot tub. When there was an issue on Friday evening, we contacted the host who responded within the hour. Kitchen worked great for our personal French cooking lesson. We had a blast playing pool downstairs. And oh how the beds were comfortable, with great sheets to boot! Great views out the living room and kitchen to enjoy your morning coffee. What a great place!

Eric was a wonderful host. Directions were very clear and understanding. Although the thermostat is split , Eric was very understanding an adjusted as needed. Great location and get away spot for couples. Very quiet and secured . We will definitely come back!

I had an amazing stay at Casey’s place! The home was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views of Lake Lure. The bed was super comfortable, and I appreciated the thoughtful decor and extra amenities. Casey was a fantastic host—quick to respond, friendly, and made check-in a breeze. This place is a great stay for anyone looking for a place centrally located in the Cashiers/Sapphire area. Easy and scenic walk around lake Fairfield. Great Mountain View from back patio. Easy access to Sapphire National Golf Course. The place is very spacious with room to spread out for the whole family and it is equipped very well. Roland is responsive and checked in on us periodically to make sure everything was well. I highly recommend staying here!

Veronica’s house was absolutely perfect for a large group get away. The views of the mountains from the house were gorgeous, the fire pit out back and the huge back deck was great for spending the evening at the house instead of even having to go out anywhere. The beds are super comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed plus more. It’s also less than 15 min from downtown Asheville! Veronica is very responsive and even had me call her when I got there to give me instructions on everything in the house. I will be back!
