There is so much to explore from our doorstep such as ancient castles, majestic mountains and lakes, steam railways, Portmeirion, Zip-world and much more. We even have the Heritage Steam Railway and a pub within walking distance.

Located in Betws Garmon in Snowdonia (Eryri) National Park, Bryn Ivor is the perfect choice for exploring the mountains of Snowdonia & beautiful beaches on the Llŷn Peninsula & Anglesey. The Snowdon Ranger and Rhyd Ddu paths, leading to the summit of Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) are only 2 & 3 miles away. Mynydd Mawr & Moel Eilio provide wonderful mountain walks with magnificent views, right from the door. For swimmers, paddleboarders & cyclists, there are lots of opportunies for great days out.

Experience the ultimate getaway in our off-grid Shepherd's Huts next to Barlwyd Lake. Wake up to breathtaking views of Ffestiniog's mountains, quarries, and valleys. The huts are for two people and furnished with a king-size bed, a kitchenette, and an en-suite bathroom. The interiors are cosy and bright, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. You'll have access to the Wilderness Sauna, (don't forget to book a session!). Each hut comes with its own off-road electric golf buggy.

The quiet side of Snowdon. Bryn Derwen is close (2 miles & 3 miles respectively) to the start of the Snowdon Ranger & Rhyd Ddu paths to the summit - without the crowds! Bryn Derwen is a self catering, mid terraced cottage, between Caernarfon and Beddgelert in the Snowdonia National Park. It is spacious with dining/kitchen & pantry, south facing sitting room, 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom. The gardens front & back, offer superb views of river & mountains and the Welsh Highland Railway.

Planwydd Farmhouse 1 is situated within 25 acres leading down to Cwellyn Lake with spectacular uninterrupted views towards Snowdon with Snowdon Ranger and Rhyd Ddu Paths to Snowdon within walking distance There are many local walks which include Lon Gwyrfai, Nantlle Ridge, and Mynydd Mawr and various forestry walks on our doorstep. We are an ideal base for exploring the whole of Snowdonia and North Wales or you can take time to relax and catch up with family or friends

With stunning views of Snowdon the cottage has the Rhyd Ddu path, the Welsh Highland steam railway, Y Garn & Nantlle ridge on its doorstep. The cottage was refurbished in 2017 to a high standard. There are 2 wood burners, fully equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine & microwave. Excellent WIFI, Sky Q, walking guide books. Included is an initial supply of kindling, paper and logs. The Cwellyn Arms pub is just a few steps away.
