Tucked away in the village of Jawana (which means the village beneath the cliff), about 20 min drive through a farm road from the main road near Punakha Dzong is a Bhutanese treasure called Aum Wangmo Homestay. The 5-acre farm has been in Aum Wangmo’s family for about 200 years, since her great-great-grandfather’s time. Well maintained, the farmhouse has been repaired, extended and renovated to house two modern toilets/bathrooms and five rooms to accommodate 10 tourists comfortably.

Chimi Lhakhang Village Home stay is three storied traditional house located on the way towards Chimi Lhakhang Temple also known as as fertility temple 1.5 KM from Thimphu-Punakha national highway. We offer an authentic Bhutanese village homestay experience with the traditional meals. We can also arrange you to play national game archery and also other traditional games.

Dechen Gawa village homestay

It is located before reaching Jampa Lhakhang and is accessed by the same road which heads out of Chamkhar town. It is located on the (right side of the road) five kilometers from town on the way to Kure temple. We offer varieties of authentic Bumthap Cuisine with other typical Bhutanese dishes. The stay provides a clean environment with convenient parking spaces.

Gensa Homestay

A traditional Bhutanese homestay, we are about 6 kilometers away from the main Paro town and just a few meters walk away from the Paro Chhu River. You can also try authentic Bhutanese dishes made in our kitchen. Taxi service to and from the town are easily available on sharing and booking basis.
