A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. There is not a boat dock but around the corner is a boat ramp and of course you can fish from the shore. This shoreline is not the best for swimming it has several stumps but great for fishing. WE DONOT HAVE Wi-Fi yet, but good cell phone service/hotspot. Restaurants and shopping 20 miles in the historical town of Jefferson.

Our newly built 1300 sf large private cabin nestled under a large oak tree, positioned right on the bank of our private 2.5 acre lake with its own dock. Sleeps up to six guests, plenty of parking, and has three beds, a 90-year-old restored pool table upstairs in the large loft, 3 porches (both back porches overlook the lake) and custom cabinets throughout made of local hickory. Enjoy all the displayed paintings, photography, sculptures and cut stones all created by the hosts.
