Cabin is small, cozy and clean. Full bed and single downstairs. Ladder loft has space for 2. dry cabin. No running water or bathroom in cabin but a mermaid outhouse nearby and a summer outdoor hotwater shower and coldwater sink. Shared fire pit. Wood is available,water nearby on property. Please register pets as they require an additional cleaning fee. 1 or 2 pets kept on leash and never left unattended. Please pick up after. TY Close to Kenai River, mtns and coast. Very relaxed and casual here!

Stay in our waterfront cabin with unobstructed views of the Kenai River and private fishing docks. Fishing gear is provided, including rods, tackle, and hip waders. Our cabin has a kitchen with an oven/range, microwave, fridge/freezer, sink, utensils, and dishes. Guests also have use of outdoor riverfront kitchen and grill, outdoor fire pit, and freezers for storing your catch. Whether you are a fisherman, photographer, or explorer, you will love it here. Alden's Vacation Rental is located on Scout Lake Road in Sterling Alaska. We are in the heart of the best fishing in AK. King, Sockeye, Silver & Pink Salmon. There is also excellent Rainbow trout and Dolly Varden Trout. The world famous Kenai River is just a mile away. This is a very peaceful area with lots of privacy. The Moose River is also only a mile away. The famous Swanson River canoe trails are just down the road. There is a local Pizzeria, restaurants and local taverns with live music.

The apartment has a private bedroom, living area with a queen sofa bed, full kitchen and bathroom, and it's own private entrance and patio. This is a quiet, secluded area where we often see moose and sandhill cranes. We are just a 10-minute drive to Soldotna and fishing on the Kenai River and just a 20-minute drive to the Cook Inlet or the Russian River. This area of Alaska has so much to do the whole family will enjoy.

Cook State Park, and countless adventures. This location is a great jumping off point and features close access to fishing at the world famous Kenai River just a few minutes away. The cross-country skiing in town is excellent in season.
