Herfra kan du nyte storslagen utsikt til fantastiske fjell og sjø, samt oppleve det spektakulære lyset vi har i nord, året rundt. Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.

The cabin is situated on the roof of the tunnel to Malangen and just by the seaside. The living room has great windows that give you a feeling of being outside when are sitting warm and comfortably inside. Perfect for spotting for the northern lights. The cabin has three large bedrooms, a nice bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen. Everything is ready for you to have a great stay just outside amazing Tromsø. Huset ligger i vakre omgivelser i storslått natur, her finner du sjelero. Det var mine besteforeldres småbruk, og gir en følelse av nostalgi. Stedet er i umiddelbar nærhet til fjell og en innsjø som oppleves ganske privat. Det er nært lakseførende vassdrag og småviltjakt for de som liker å fiske eller jakte. (Se annen informasjon). Fra september til april er Senja et av de beste stedene i verden å se nordlys ved klarvær, vi ligger under nordlysovalen.
