This is a great place to stay for anything having to do with the University. We stayed along with family for our students graduation. The close proximity is almost walking distance to the school activities. The surrounding areas of the rental is undergoing a massive beautification process as it is historically lovely. We highly recommend this place to stay and the hosts are welcoming, helpful and friendly. We would definitely like to stay there again.

Mindy was hands down the best Air BnB host I’ve ever had. Kind, responsive, helpful and even let us check out late on Sunday! We loved the house and it had everything we needed. Such a peaceful property for a relaxing weekend away from all the noise and very dog friendly. We will definitely be back!!

Bill came out to greet us and was warm and welcoming. We had a lovely chat and he showed us around, encouraging us to make ourselves at home. He was knowledgeable about restaurants and other places of interest in Selma. The following morning, Bill prepared and served us a delicious breakfast feast on his beautiful dining room table. He had kindly inquired about dietary preferences and gladly honored our requests. The antiques and works of art throughout the house were fascinating. The early check-in and late check-out were an added convenience. Bill is a very gracious host and a humorous raconteur. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Responsive host and nice property.

We stayed at Chris’s place for The Alabama A Game. It was really perfect for our family. Everything was just as it was described and it was Convenient to Everything. Quiet and Friendly Neighborhood. We definitely will stay at Chris’s place again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is very good for those who: are on a budget who want to visit their kids for Parents Weekend or Gameday at the greatest University in the country but can’t pay T-Town hotel prices, can sleep through a little road noise, and respect that this is an older home and the hosts are probably just trying to support their family and are sprucing things up as they can. This place is not for: those who care about high end finishes/thread count, manicured lawns, or an expensive neighborhood feel. Hosts were very accommodating allowing us an early checkin and we were able to bring our 2 furry friends.
