Relaxing Country Getaway- come hike or just R&R

This is an eclectic space that was a former art studio. The artist who lives just next door, keeps a private working studio in the loft. Although it is inaccessible to our guests, you will see her art on the walls and her creative side in the large lady shown in the pictures. Firepit and wood available. 5 hiking trails on 300 acres! Nov7-Dec 7th we will have hunters and trails may not be available Important: please read the house rules before booking with pets. We do also have a pet fee.

Located at the highest elevation in Muskingum County offering breathtaking views of thousands of acres of public wildlife land. This is the perfect spot for hunters, fisherman, couples or families looking for a secluded getaway. The entire cottage has been completely remodeled to make this feel like a home away from home. You will be just steps away from tons of big & small hunting game. You are also surrounded by hundreds of lakes to choose from. End your day relaxing by the elevated fire pit.

Route 60 Getaway

Route 60 Getaway is at 5226 N St Rt 60 NW, McConnelsville. Located along State Route 60, 2 miles north of McConnelsville. It is located above our families landscaping business. It is not in a secluded area (due to businesses nearby) however, you will not be disturbed!! You will find it fully furnished, & ready for a pleasant "home away from home"! There is currently a guest in the apartment below the house. However you will not be disturbed and their are no shared spaces outside!

We look forward to welcoming you to the secluded beauty of our space, designed and built by my husband on our 20 acres of wooded property in the rolling hills of Central Ohio. A floor-to-ceiling glass front provides you with a view of fields green in summertime and ripe with goldenrod in the fall, four outdoor deck spaces invite you to relax in the beauty of nature, and a second story loft suite with a soaking tub are ready to provide you with rest and refreshment.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway just miles from The Wilds Safari Park, Blue Rock State Park, Jesse Owens State Park and DNR Recreational Land. Come enjoy this peaceful cabin in the woods with all the comforts of home. We are situated on 30 acres of beautiful woods with trails to explore or mountain bike on! The cabin sleeps 4 with one of the beds being a full size sleeper couch. Fully stocked kitchen for your use, and free unlimited fire wood.

Unique Kabin in the Woods

We are situated near I-70 and, Dillon State Park, Blackhand Gorge and The Wilds. Bald Eagle, Deer, Turkey, Rabbit, Squirrels are in the area.There's golf, wineries and breweries nearby. You'll love the coziness and privacy of the place. This place is good for couples, families, solo adventurers and business travelers. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful newly remodeled farmhouse out in the country. In the foothills of Southeastern Ohio. Only 9 miles out of town. Very peaceful and secluded like a "home away from home"! Welcome Hunters! Perfect place for a group of hunting buddies. Or spend the day relaxing in the hammock in the sunroom. Play some Cornhole with our set in the sunroom. Have fire in the riverside fire pit and cook some hotdogs for the kids.
