We ( myself and 2 of my friends) stayed here for a dog sports event nearby and David was very generous to let us stay, and include our 9 total dogs. Cozy little cabin with all of the amenities and we had a great stay.

This was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway. The property is beautiful and quiet, exactly what we were looking for. The tub and deck were our favorite parts of the trip. Highly recommend for a relaxing trip.

This is a great place if you need to unwind. I got married this weekend. Wasn't there most of the stay. I was able to relax in peace when I did make it. My children and I enjoyed the hot tube.❤️❤️❤️

We loved our stay! We shared the cabin with another family and we had such an enchanted weekend there. The house is very comfortable and the big porch is incredible. The grounds were amazing, we loved exploring the cypress swamp, running in the woods and spending time up and down the creek. At night we built fires, star-gazed and enjoyed the hot-tub. Both the kids and adults had a great time.

We absolutely loved our stay! The farm and surrounding area is beautiful, hot tub was amazing, and it was perfect for a quiet getaway. Would definitely stay again!

The cabin is located in a tranquil rural setting, and the hosts are friendly and easy to get in touch with. Both the Bogue Chitto State Park and supermarkets and restaurants are a relatively short 30-minute drive away. We enjoyed our stay here!

As repeated local guests we love Fortenberry Farms. We feel at home during every stay. Thanks again for having us and look forward to coming back in the near future

We had a wonderful stay at the Far Side Cabin. If you are looking for peace and quiet, Far Side is a great place to be. We will certainly be returning to the farm for some of our future get aways!

Rex was great! Was there to turkey hunt and he showed me a couple spots to get started. We even hunted together a couple times. The cabin is right in the middle of the forest, you can literally start hunting within yards of the cabin.

My family traveled here from Florida, and we absolutely adored this place! It was so easy to find and enter. It's actually so big and spacious, the pictures don't do it justice. It's so peaceful and relaxing exploring the land and we didn't want to leave. Terry was very accommodating and let us stay an extra day! We would deffinately love to stay again!

What a peaceful property!! The place was spotless and cozy, they left the gate open and porch light on for us as we were coming in late and just staying for a quick night. We woke up to the beautiful property and were so thankful to have the peace of the trees and the pond rather than the noise of a hotel. I wish we had had time to stay longer. I would note that you have to pass through one of the bedrooms to get to the second bedroom, in case that matters to you for privacy reasons. For our needs it worked just fine! They use hypoallergenic laundry detergent which is huge for me and for lots of people with health issues. I greatly appreciated that as an extra safety feature!! Thank you!

Are you in need of that quiet, peaceful, and serene break away from your everyday routine? Then Michelle’s place is the perfect spot!!! Beautiful lake view, perfect for relaxing walks around the lake, sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee meditating and Bible study! Only 10 minutes from town with some great Mexican food. Just the slowdown the doctor ordered!!!!

Second time staying here and both times were perfect. We loved walking the beach the most. Everything needed is provided plus more. The house is clean and comfy.

This was a great getaway for our family of 7 adults, 3 kids, and 2 dogs to escape the city and get some nature time. We spent Thanksgiving in this lovely rustic cabin preparing our feast in the fully equipped kitchen. would definitely book again, thanks Rachel!

We visited the area for our annual family reunion/Easter gathering. We’ve stayed at a few Airbnb’s and VRBO places around the area and this was definitely a favorite of ours! Our boys, ages 8 and 16, both enjoyed the fishing pond and the pool table. The cabin is in a secluded area and very peaceful. The host was very friendly and responded to messages quickly.

It was the perfect little place. Cabins were cool and clean. The bed a little squeaky but overall the cain was great. We grilled our food in the communal area which had a great feel to it. All utensils were clean as well as the cooking area. The cats and dogs were so friendly, we spent the night sat around the fire with the dogs and cats all laid around. We loved it here, we didn’t catch any fish and the wind was too strong to take out a kayak but the little beach was pretty and nicely made, could definitely do to have a bit more seating down there as there was only 1 chair. Overall we had fun, the host was friendly and the animals were amazing. We didn’t have to bring anything other than food, some soap, towels and fishing stuff. Worth the money 100%

We had a wonderful time at this cabin. The view was beautiful and the cabin was perfectly decorated and clean. Our hosts were so helpful and attentive. It was a birthday trip for my husband and when we arrived they had a “happy birthday”banner above the door. It really made his day. We enjoyed the river view and all the sounds of nature. We had so much fun fishing and rock hounding. This truly is an amazing cabin and we are counting down the days until we can visit again.

It is just as describe it is a 1940s motor court cottages. Small but had everything I needed. Getting into the lock box was a little difficult. Clean linens and towels. Small shower, but was fine. Just needed a weekend away and it worked out fine for me. I would recommend it to anyone will definitely come back.

Very quaint and very quiet. Exactly what we needed for a getaway. Sometimes the simple things really help you unwind. Nice little spot to drink coffee in the morning. Everyone we saw was friendly and we could walk to the cafe and shops.

Great little Louisiana get away cabin - loved the outdoor shower and beautiful land, a sweet neighborhood pup and clean, modern linens and kitchen. I wasn't clear that the queen bed was a fold-out couch, but that was maybe me not reading closely- the twin beds & full bed in the lofts are very comfy, of course since it's a loft it will be warmer up there. Plan to sleep in the loft or save the pull-out for kids with good backs or just sleep on the couch- the fold out will block late night access to the bathroom so avoid it if you can- the other beds are comfy enough!
