Thank you so much, Eric! Honestly, for anyone planning to visit King’s Wee Castle with their friends or family, this is the perfect place. They have everything — games, kayaks, a hot tub with a private lake — and the property is even more beautiful than the pictures. The photos don’t do justice to how amazing our experience was. I would love to go back again! It’s funny, but it actually took us 3 to 4 hours just to figure out where everything was inside the house — it was so big, spacious, and beautifully designed. Every corner, from the washrooms to the kitchen, the living area to the bedrooms, had stunning interiors. It was simply the best! We didn’t want to leave, and my friends are still in a hangover from that incredible place. Thank you for being such an amazing host, Eric!

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

I always look forward to my stays at Erik and Lise Anne’s. they are always very gracious and helpful. Response time for issues is great. Donna, the co host, is magnificent and so kind. The kind of place that makes you feel like your home away from home. Will return many times!

It was a great place. We walked into a clean and cozy house. Beautiful beach area right on the river. Enjoyed a good meal at the Pointe down the road. We would stay again!

The location is amazing, a short walk down the trail to the public beach was a great bonus. The lake is perfect for swimming! The place felt very homey, and the nostalgia of watching a movie on VHS is so much fun. Would recommend this place to everyone!

A great stay! My partner, my dog, and I have been coming to The Lodge for 4 years now and it’s always a fantastic time. It is a perfect and cozy winter stay. We loving coming back to Golden Lake year after year for The Lodge but also because Cindy is such a wonderful host. She is very responsive with any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend :)

A bit of a drive but well worth the peace and quiet of this beautiful cabin in the woods! My friends and I spent our weekend kayaking, puzzling, and BBQing. Mike was so responsive and everything was very smooth. Would definitely come back!

What a Rad experience at Scott’s Air Bnb! Such a cool out of the norm stay. Lots of little details within the gamers theme and we had so much to do without even leaving the Airbnb. We absolutely loved it!

We had a great stay at Tracy’s place. We went there right after the winter storm, roads were cleaned and access was clear. We had everything we needed. We loved having the entertainment and games in the cottage. The area was peaceful and less than hour from Gatineau National Park.

We had a busy time with two family events and really enjoyed returning to the house to relax and enjoy your amazing back yard. It is truly a peaceful oasis! The house was just perfect for our family. We are a family of 4 and travelled to Ottawa to meet my sister in law and mother in law- but needed a space to be able to spend the weekend all together. Monica's place is quite large and has so many unique areas to hang out, that anyone wanting a quiet space could have it. In the summer it would have been even more amazing with all the beautiful decks on the house. The beds were all comfortable and bedrooms were tastefully decorated. The kitchen was large and generally had most supplies. It was a cold weekend with a lot of snow- Monica took care of regular snow cleaning and the house/every room was very comfortable and warm. Monica was very kind and responsive to questions. We would love to stay here again.

I have used both Airbnb and Hipcamp many times over the years and this experience and stay would be in my top 2 recommendations to anyone wanting a stress free camping experience! I cant wait to come back and do some more rock hunting and exploring.

Davids place was beautiful and made for an enjoyable stay for our group visit. He was responsive and provided all additional details both in our chats as well as leaving a small booklet in the cottage itself highlighting places of interest nearby. The firepit and the gazebo are the most impressive parts of the property. Wifi coverage inside the cottage was fantastic and was very useful for any further research since the cellular network coverage is spotty at best. Bon Echo is just about a 20 minute drive away and there are more places within a 1 hour radius though we chose to mostly have a leisurely time on the property itself. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, private fun time in the middle of nature.

Staying at Julia’s place was a great experience ! From the moment we arrived, everything was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described (if not better). The space was cozy, stylish, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Julia was an exceptional host—super responsive, friendly, and genuinely committed to making sure we had a great experience.

Beautiful, remote chalet away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Had a great stay. Loved the BBQ and firepit. Host was friendly and welcoming with prompt responses.

Greg’s place is incredible, we would all go back in a heartbeat! Greg is a great host, always responsive and he made sure we had great stay. The place itself is beautiful, has a lot amenities and it’s super cozy. Beds are very comfortable and every space clean and well taken care of. Definitely recommended.

Very clean, very cute lakehouse! Kitchen and place in general was well stocked, and many fun outdoor activities were provided! Super quick and clear communication with host throughout the stay. Wifi & signal very strong. Loved it so much :)

My partner and I really enjoyed our weekend at Etienne’s cottage. The island was so interesting to explore and we hiked many trails. The cottage was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a cosy weekend! We didn’t realize when booking that the main house was only a few hundred feet from the cottage but we still had privacy. In the summer, if other people rented the second cottage and you were all outside I do think that privacy would go down. Otherwise, we loved all of it and would highly recommend!!

We had a great time at Damon’s place. Thanks to his great info prior the stay, we had zero issues to get there. The house was clean, comfy and had all the amenities that are needed for the stay. The view at the lake is great. We would come back for sure!
