Great home base for a bay of fires adventure. Cosy house full of character (great book collection!). Gorgeous back yard for relaxing in. We cooked up a storm, lounged about, shucked oysters at sunset down by the water, and my dog loved every minute. Thanks Joe!

The Black House felt like a home away from home. Had everything you could possibly need for a long stay. Very attentive/helpful host. The interior design was impeccable and very modern. 10/10 would recommend.

A relaxing trip away, so lovely that is doggie friendly! Not as private as we would have liked - people walking past and looking in, however it was Easter! Also, thankful for wifi as I had no reception at all (with Telstra).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Albion Gardens. It definitely felt like being in a home away from home, and a luxurious one at that. The house and gardens are magnificent; privacy and peace are assured. Will highly recommend to friends and family wishing to visit and stay in Launceston or to those who would like a place to escape to for rest and rejuvenation.

Great place in a private, clean, tidy & peaceful spot. Located in a lovely & lofty suburb close to town & not far from the magnificent gorge...just a tip, it's a good idea to have a car.

We had a lovely stay at Rob's place. The location was central to the town centre and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. They made us feel at home and provided us with great recommendations. The place itself was just as described, very clean and full of little extras that illustrates the dedication they have to make guests feel welcome. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Launceston. Wow, wow, wow…we have just left Whale Song behind but will always have a little place in our hearts. We had such a special stay with our 19 month old, slow mornings on the deck, bacon sandwiches on the little private beach at the bottom of house, afternoons collecting shells at the lagoon- the perfect slow and relaxing holiday! The place was just beautiful and a gorgeous shack to unwind in.

We loved staying at the Rock Cabins and would love to stay again. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, quiet, warm and tastefully furnished. The huge mudroom was very useful.

Gaby and John were delightful hosts, greeting us upon arrival they showed us the cabin and let us settle in. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the view was spectacular. The cabin was the best spot to relax and watch the wildlife go by. We loved making friends with the local wallaby.
