Custom- built Barndo at Old 27 Ranch (upper house)

This is a custom built loft house attached to horse barn over looking acres of rolling green pastures. This horse property has been grandfathered into the city limits and has access to all the town has to offer. Yet peaceful, safe estate. Floor to ceiling windows, 2 level decking. Enjoy the views, bike (bike trail near) or walk/hike. Our land wraps around the Lake Opperman (not a sandy bottom lake) Bring your canoes and your books. Tree House

The Tree House, an upstairs dwelling, is in a peaceful setting. A unique topography supports numerous species of wild life including nearly 200 species of birds. The Tree House is located near the head waters of the Mississippi river, Tamarac National Wild Life Refuge, Detroit Mountain Recreation Area, golf courses, casinos and North Country Trail. A full kitchen and a comfortable indoor setting makes a lovely getaway. The rock fire pit is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy nature.

The Dog House cabin

Great little cabin. Very new, 6 bunk beds, hide a bed sofa, kitchen and bath w/shower washer/dryer. On 3 acres w/heated breezeway for dogs or you can bring them in. Full stove and fridge and is right across the street form the Old Schoolhouse Bar where you can get pizza and drinks and meet local farmers to gain permission to hunt! Base of $90 per night, $30 per person per night for each guest over two. $60 cleaning fee at the end of your stay.

Lovely farmhouse out on the Tallgrass Prairie, surrounded by prairie habitat and wetlands. Large kitchen, dining room, three bedrooms, pullout couch. Fireplace, firepit in the back, and known for the dark night sky and star gazing. Nearby bike trails and a water trail for kayaking / canoeing nearby. A known 'stepping stone' for migratory waterfowl across North America. Peaceful, quiet, wide open spaces and great kite flying.

PLEASE NOTE: This Suite is located in the upper level of our residence and does not include a full kitchen. ***NOTE*** *Limit of 8 guests with a fee of $15/person/night after 2 guests. *We also welcome extended stays, giving a 15% discount on week long stays and a 25% discount on monthly stays.

During the winter, come back to a warm cabin and play board games by the fireplace after a full day of snowmobiling or other outdoor activities. Dry your winter gear in a separate warming house/game room featuring a pool table and dart board!
