A very clean and comfortable stay. The house and gardens were immaculately presented. We felt right at home and had a relaxing stay. The house is located in a quiet street. You can be on a beach in 5 mins walk and the famous Barry island beach is a lovely coastal stroll away. We came on a Gavin and Stacey Pilgrimage. The house was the ideal base for a family holiday, giving us plenty of space to chill out in. The welcome treats were a very kind gift.

We chose this home because we wanted somewhere close to the sea to walk our two dogs. This was perfect as the beach was so clean and quiet in the day. The house was well set out and had plenty of room for four adults and two dogs. Lots of places to walk to if you wanted to eat out around the house, as well as delivery services. Within easy reach of supermarkets. We used this as a base to visit Barry, and the Mumbles. Great communication from start to finish.

Came from the midlands for a couple of nights to watch Wrestlemania with some friends. The TV was the main reason we came but everything else was as described. Cleanliness and a cosy living space was what stood out to us. I’d definitely look into coming back for another event if you have up to 2 or 3 other friends

From booking the stay right to the very end, this was an amazing find in terms of a place to stay for our mini family holiday. The access to the beach was perfect and just being able to look outside some of the rooms to see waves and the sea was serene. Fiona was super helpful and fast in her responses. Instructions were also clear. Would definitely recommend :)

Lovely stay the property is in a good location for walks and close to a few restaurants not forgetting the lovely beach

This was our second visit to Nash Point Lighthouse - which itself speaks volumes. As well as being in a stunning part of South Wales - with loads of wonderful walks and beautiful beaches - the accommodation is super: spacious, well equipped, clean, with comfy beds and lovely bed linen. As pointed out by previous reviewers, be aware that the Lighthouse is pretty much off grid (unless you're on EE, which worked for us) but surely that's the point of a get away?!! We were fortunate to experience dramatic weather - wild, wet and windy to crystal clear and sunny. With no light pollution, the night sky was a blanket of stars. Heavenly! We will be back and urge anyone else who books to explore the surrounding countryside and coastline.

My family and I staying in Segeun little cottage, we enjoyed very much, nice big kitchen, and clean bathroom. Very comfortable beds, I have back problems and I sleep like a baby every night. Easy to find and very well located to get to Penyfan peak and Breacon Mountain. We also visited Aberfan town and memorial. And the owners from the corner fish and chips shop made our trip even better, they have very nice food and home made pies, we got food from them few times and eaten at home. Definitely we will come back.

Firstly, this place was perfect, the location was beautiful, the Airbnb itself was stunning, I loved every minute of my time here. the host was so helpful and kind. The facilities were great. honestly the only thing I would say that was negative was the rug in the living room still had some dog hairs on which I only realised when I kneeled down to sweep up under the sofa and got up with dog hairs on my trousers. That can be easily fixed with a hoover though. All in all I loved it here, my parents loved it here. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back in the future

Great apartment with amazing views of Rest Bay & coast from the terrace and bedrooms. This place is even better than the photos! Spacious & homely for our family of 4 plus dog and furnished to a very high standard, with everything you could possibly need. We were fortunate with the weather & enjoyed sitting out on the terrace in the sunshine with the most amazing view of the beach.

Beautiful venue! Incredible communication with Claire, would perhaps recommend a guest handbook with instructions on cooker, how to turn heating on/hot water etc.

We really enjoyed our stay. Everything you could need in this lovely apartment. So close to the beaches - not a sea view, but a very nice courtyard. Easy parking, a lovely walk into Porthcawl - or if you take the car we had no problems parking. We are walking the Welsh Coast and from here we managed Ogmore to Swansea - all within easy reach - and with the help of some friendly taxis.

We loved our stay at Barbara’s such a lovely spot ! Could not get closer to the sea if you tried. Barbara kept in touch during our stay letting us know what events and what places to go which was so thoughtful 🧐 When we arrived there was a welcome basket and fresh milk in the fridge.. so lovely of her. So clean and the beds were comfy! I definitely would love to book and go again. Thank you so much Barbara we had a lovely stay and had a relaxing time watching the sea
