Relax with the family at this peaceful place. 9 Maude Street is a very short walk to Sara Street, the main street, where you will find the local cafe, hotel, post office, news agency, library, swimming pool and the ANZAC Memorial Museum and Wall of Rememberance. There is no grocery store.A stroll along Brigalow Creek is a must to explore the informative and scenic Meacle Family Walkway. It is a very short walk to the local Bowls Club, open 5pm week days for drinks and social bowls on Sundays .

Wicklow Cottage

Wicklow Cottage is a renovated country cottage situated on a working farm approximately 12 min north of Kingaroy, near the village of Wooroolin. It is a quiet location yet close to town and near the rail trail. You can choose to base yourself here or just chill out on the verandah with a coffee, good book or perhaps a glass of local wine. Some guests stay while on short term work assignments. 2 pm checkout on Sundays. A 10 amp power point is available in the carport for EV charging.

The new kitchen & living area enjoys country views with fireplace, air-conditioning & smart TV with Foxtel. We breed dropers, have 2 alpacas and frequent sightings of koalas. Horses welcome with 2 stables available. Only 26 minutes to Toowoomba Show Grounds. We can provide fresh eggs when available.

It is completely private accommodation for two, however if more beds are required, "The Original Biddeston School" is also available to book on our property.

We run sheep and cattle on our property and have a sheep dog called Shred.

Our amenities block is located only a few hundred meters away from the cottages. Our cottages are located within a very slow Caravan Park/ Camping Grounds. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the Bush. With more than 200 acres of bushland includes bushland, caves wildlife and the Punchbowl creek.
