This place has been in our family for many years and we have enjoyed this as a weekender and for holidays to escape Sydney. It is by Tuggerah Lake and has just been newly renovated. It makes for a peaceful getaway. The beaches are a 10-minute drive away and a 15-minute drive to The Entrance. Backyard access to the reserve and lake. Perfect spot for fishing , kayaking , swimming & boating. Restaurants/Bar: Wallarah Bay Recreation Club & Wyong Leagues Club. Shops Lakehaven Shopping Centre.

The River House is a unique, off grid water access only sanctuary featuring indoor/outdoor living and dining areas and it’s own private deep water pontoon and beach. Home designed for one or two families situated between Lake Munmorah and Lake Budgewoi, 5 minutes from Budgewoi beach and accessible to the Entrance and the Nora Heads Rock Pools. (Approximately 15 minutes away.) Coles can be found at the end of the street. Sleeps 9 people. 10 with a trundle bed, available by request only. The request needs to be made at least two weeks' prior to the date of the booking to ensure that arrangements can be made by the time the booking comes about.

Waterfront Treehouse on the Hawkesbury River

Surrounded by national parkland on the Hawkesbury River, the Treehouse is an architecturally designed red-cedar cottage set high on the riverbank with a private jetty and spectacular water views. The two queen beds are furnished with luxurious cotton and Belgian linen. The main bedroom is on a mezzanine level and overlooks the living area which has a slow-combustion fire. Perfect in summer or winter. (Sunday check-out is 5pm.)
