Another fantastic Spring Break at the Best Box! The nicest, cleanest, most relaxing rental we’ve ever found. Didn’t think the property could be any better than it was last year, but the owners have managed to make many creative and thoughtful upgrades. Enjoyed days at the beach, days on the sound, chartered a boat for fishing, ate tons of seafood, and saw the best sunsets right from the deck. Literally took advantage of everything in this house - from crabbing to fishing to baggo to flying kites to playing board games to darts and foosball. Oh and kayaking, relaxing in the hammock, and tubing, too.

We had a lovely time at Leslie’s property in Nags Head! The house was well stocked, easy to access and had everything we needed! The location was wonderful - dolphin and pelican watching was fabulous!

Great house and great host. Had to make a last second change from a previous house we were staying in and Michelle was able to fit us in the night we asked and even before our allotted time. Made sure we had everything we needed and was always responsive. Very appreciative for her and her flexibility. Home was clean and had everything we needed. Would recommend to stay here.

Our family loved spending the week here! The incredible kitchen is so well stocked and fun to cook in, the beds are all very comfortable, and the location is great - easy beach access and beautiful views. It’s walkable to a lovely coffee shop and movement studio, and close to any and all amenities you may need while still feeling private.

This is our second time staying here so that should speak for itself. Great place, great host!

This house was very nice. The neighborhood is beautiful and it was centrally located to all the things we wanted to see in OBX. We liked having comfy beds for everyone and covered parking. Goldie was very communicative. It would be nice to have shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms (no one else in my family brought any 😂) and access to beach chairs and sand toys would be a helpful addition since it’s so close to the shore. Thank you for your hospitality.

We had a lovely stay at The Grey Pearl. Perfect location-walk to restaurants, etc. We packed bikes and never took the car out once. I really love a dog friendly house!

A great AirBnB that was very well outfitted and very clean! Very close to the Hatteras lighthouse. The beach access was a bit tricky as you had to climb over these giant sandbags and at high tide, the water came just about up to them.

Greg’s listing is just as described. Very comfortable and cozy with everything we needed for a full week at the beach. Beds were comfortable and everything was so clean and fresh. The kitchen had anything we needed to make our own meals. The fenced in yard for our pup was a real benefit! He loved it! Sitting on the front porch early in the mornings, sipping coffee with that good salt air and hearing the waves was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. Beach access is just across the street. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you for a much needed break from the business of a full life! We’d like to come back and stay again!

This was our second time staying at Hatteras Happy Times and we love it there. The location is beautiful and peaceful . The house is located at the end of a street with views of the sound all around. We spent lots of time on the deck watching the birds and relaxing. We could put our paddle boards in directly across from the house. Highly recommend!

Had a great time , steps from beach, the pool was super nice!!! Was offered hotdogs, cheeseburgers, and watermelon for 4th of July at no additional cost for everyone staying in cottages. AC worked great!!! It was record breaking heat and we where more than comfortable!!!

My sweetheart and I traveled to Frisco for a long weekend away with our small dog and found Taylor’s place to be exactly what we were hoping for. We loved the fact that it is back on a quiet cul-de-sac in the trees, and we are not staring at other houses because we tend to like to be in nature and not around a lot of people. this space was perfect for the two of us, and felt much bigger than it looked because of the high ceilings, skylights, and nice clean surroundings. It was lovely to have an outdoor shower shower with warm, running water this time of year to wash our feet off, and I loved how they had even a little ceiling fan over the bed. The large couch was so comfortable to lounge on when we weren’t at the beach, and we found everything quite peaceful. It had a decent fridge and we brought a little cook stove with us so we could have espresso and eggs on the beach in the mornings. Lovely weekend, Taylor, thank you!

Really nice place in an amazing location

We had a truly great stay! The house is exactly as described/pictured and is immaculately clean. The owners are very responsive and accommodating. Very simple check-out which is always appreciated. The house is tucked away on a cul-de-sac, it's a very quiet and safe area (as is all of Manteo). An easy 10-15 minute walk to downtown Manteo depending on where you're going. One of the better Airbnb experience's we've ever had, we will definitely be returning!

Just Enough was that and so much more. Beautiful area, super porch for viewing the canal, really comfortable house. The kitchen had everything needed for cooking up some great fresh seafood. The seafood shop was just up the road by the way. Restaurants and grocery were all close by. Evenings on the porch were such a super way to relax after beaching, biking and kayaking. Really loved our stay

Melinda was a great host. She was very responsive and made sure everything was good for check-in. Her place is a cozy little cottage off a busy street. You do not notice the road noise from inside. We only stayed one night but had everything we needed for our stay. Location was good with easy access to everything we were interested in doing.

This was the cutest little beach cottage! We went for a 4 day get away with our small children and dog. Our 12 year old son absolutely LOVED fishing in the canal in the backyard. He’s an avid lover of fishing so this was perfect! We rented a kayak & had it delivered for him to use. We frequent the Hatteras area and this cottage was one we’d never tried but would definitely stay again! Thanks Gisa!

Great location, quiet and peaceful and very short walk to a beautiful non-crowded beach. We loved the outdoor shower with hot water to rinse off after the beach, the decks are very solid and well kept. Most of the furniture was comfortable. The upstairs double bed and the kids bunk beds downstairs were not comfortable but the kids didn't complain. The 2 king beds downstairs were very comfortable. Water pressure in the downstairs bathroom was bad but honestly the location and the outdoor shower seriously made up for anything else. My only recommendation would be to request extra pillow cases as there were extra pillows in the closets but I had to request extra pillow cases for them which the host took care of immediately. Overall we would stay here again and it was a very good value for the money. The location really was fantastic, and the house was a good value for the money.

We had a great stay at Out of the Blue. Margot was so responsive and helpful. Perfect location to get to/from beach easily and close to grocery, restaurants. Comfortable home. Would definitely return!
